For anyone that's played on a European or North American DDR X2 location test machine and has noticed a drifting issue, please comment about it in here.
The drifting issue has the following symptom:
The stepchart would be on time with the music at the very start, but as the song progresses along, the chart will start lagging behind the music, causing you to step on the arrows later than you should.
The following versions are affected:
Europe: JDX:E:A:A:2010071200 & JDX:E:A:A:2010090800
North America: JDX:U:A:A:2010071200 & JDX:U:A:A:2010090800
I for one can confirm there's a drifting issue on the JDX:E:A:A:2010071200 version.
Pictures or videos of this bug are crucial for proof of the bug and for Konami to acknowledge the problem before the final release.

I've played X2 quite a lot and I can certainly confirm this bug. It was quite noticeable when playing Pluto Relinquish on Expert. The deathrun at the end was synced noticeably late.

The sync drift issue is still present on the Feltham machine running JDX:E:A:A:2010090800

Jimbo, who won last years DDR US Championship tournament also noticed the drift on the latest US loc test in New Jersey's Funplex. the arcade owner asked for them to write down their feedback and that was one of the points that he made in his writeup.

For reference, here is djshefu's video which best demonstrates the drift issue:
This is from the New Jersey location test.

That looks terrible, it seems fine then goes WAY off. Still, looks certainly playable for now. Enjoy it while you cans

That is probably the best evidence of it out there except that it isnt the most up to date software version , yet its exactly the same in the newer one, i can vouch for that too. If someone goes to the feltham location test that usually has pretty good PA/MA can they get a video as clear as this as well? i'd do it if it was still there at the expo and i knew where it was

Stupid random greats while playing visually stopped me getting any AAAs today - I pin the blame on librawthrills
oh well, pads are good enough to allow me to pass stuff like Deltamax Doubles and Hades Challenge without too much effort (10 times better than the old pads in that regard). Its just a pity the I/O is shit on these cabs.

Just thought id post it here too, yeah the Troc cab is suffering badly from the syncing issues but noticably using slower speed mods seems to reduce the amount of drift you get. At least from what i could see anyway. Also the pads are pretty much broken as of friday night so konamis "New improved" design really needs re-addressing.
The songs i played (twice i might add on different speed mods) EZ DO DANCE, Dazzlin Darlin and Butterfly 2008 X Edit. I actually walked off the machine on butterfly the first time round because of how off it had gotten and how the pads were just not working anymore.

Damn, and I'm going Thursday
Think I might just avoid the X2 altogether. Shame really, but I bet it's getting a lot of damage to it.
