I passed with a D on my $50 dance pad which has been used for the second time only and is already slipping but anyway... oh my god, I am sweating bullets right now... everyone here has probably passed it but this is a huge deal for me and I don't know how people can get AA on that song... especially when the last part kicks in and that stupid heart rate is heard ...anyways congrats to you all and me

Did you actually spin the spins?
Once upon a time, back in 2001-2002 I could. Even up through '05, maybe. Then I got old and lazy. There's also a fun thing you can do to turn around during the chorus, too.
Either way, that's a milestone in my book. Welcome to the big leagues!

I'll have you know that HVAM was one of the last true 9's I passed
it's HARD! and congrats on your pass! I couldn't time that stop before the final stream for a long while, but when I finally passed it, I simply flopped over from getting myself all worked up. Glad to know I wasn't the only one that did that.

Grats man, it was a hard song for me to finish on Expert, but when i did, and at the very end of the song in the slowdown, i STOMPED THOSE LAST BEATS (DA-DA!...thump-thump...thump-thump) GAAAHHH ACCOMPLISHEMNT ACHIEVED!

congrats. you'll find now that you've passed it, when you play it from now on you wont know how you ever failed it lol. it might still kick your ass for a while, but DDR is like an RPG. you just got exp and went up 5 levels and learned "pass HVAM"

Congrats! I remember the first time I passed it my legs went numb at the last part and I keeled over in pain. Fastforward 5 years later and I can AA it without breaking a sweat (unless I was already sweating). I agree that HVAM is definitely a milestone pass and you should be proud of yourself

haha i remember back when I played on standard. that is a damn fun chart. standard charts these days, even though i don't play them anymore, are so disappointing after playing HVAM.anyway i've only passed HVAM heavy a handful of times. considering how out of shape i am, i'd probably only be able to get a B now. haven't played in too long

Yeah, HVAM is one of the last 9's I AA'd. It's really annoying. Congrats on beating it =] I remember how happy I was when I got my first pass on it.
