Ok, I've been going through and playing all the songs in order down the wheel. The thing is, the scores I'm entering (and I cross-checked songs over and over again) aren't matching up: I'm routinely getting too many arrows to enter in per song. That's one of my problems.
(On the Japanese DDR Solo machine I play on, it's only unfortunate that they don't let you see the title of the song you just played in the scores- but that's a seperate contention of mine you guys wouldn't be able to help me with.)

I'm confused about uploading the Solo scores on here. There are only fields for Perfect, Great, Good, Almost, Boo, and OK.
But on the scores I get, I rather see fields for Perfect, Great, Good, Boo, and Miss.
Am I supposed to match up Almost to Boo and Boo to miss? I don't understand how to upload my scores correctly in the database.

Yes. Almost is Boo and Boo is Miss. They were renamed, mostly for American home releases, but now this... Just follow the same order.

For consistency with other mixes, jumps count as 1 step in the database.

However, in DDR Solo Bass and Solo 2000, jumps count as 2 steps (these are the only mixes where this is the case).

This makes it a bit tricky to get the scores to correspond - the easiest way is to just record the non-perfect steps and then hit the "assign rest to perfect and OK", which is usually close enough.

Thanks to both of you for your help! I figured that my problem had something to do with the jumps, since they don't count as one arrow in the game. I guess it now makes sense that they would've renamed the timing windows too.

Oh, tedious tedious work... but it will pay off! >:]
