As an employee of a Namco Cybertainment arcade, I make it a personal point to every now and then learn about any new updates to the used game sales list on the company website, NamcoArcade.com. The list has been recently updated with new and lower prices and now more games to buy from. Finally several DanceDanceRevolution Extreme and SuperNOVA machines hit the list with Extreme's priced at $3995 and SuperNOVA at $7495. It should be noted that we suspect most if not all of the SuperNOVAs were upgraded from that of older mixes and not SuperNOVA dedicated cabinets. Also there are several In The Groove 2 converted cabniets for a reduced price of $1000 (originally $1395) and one In The Groove 2 dedicated in Michigan for a redicously low $4495. Lastly there is one Pump It Up Zero in New York for only $1995, though we have no idea what type of cabinet that game is in. All in all these prices are crazy low versus the cost on those of eBay and premium retailers.

I understand that they are used and all, but how bad are they? (in terms of condition)
Optimist Aegis:

By condition...
I mean how hurt are the pads?
Is the screen scratched, etc.
May I attain this information?

I would suggest going to the website and doing a search for the machines in your region and then contact them yourself since they are probably being handled by different people

The supernovas are a pretty big rip off; if you can get ahold of a japanese python kit and get an extended I/O board from betson, you could convert an old cab for much cheaper. Keep your eyes on craigslist for machines, you might be able to get a traditional ddr cab for $2500 or so? I got my solo machine for $1200 locally. Nothing against Namco, just the prices seem pretty steep compared to what you can get if you do a little hunting.

Yes I agree the SuperNOVA are a little over the top, its the ITG converted cabs that are of more appeal, assuming you can find the ones that are not the poorly built namco ones (aka crap-o-cabs). Yes I agree with time and research you can do better, I just posted this because its a lot of new listings from one source, and the prices are better from more obvious places to shop.
Also each machine will vary despite the price being the same, if there is a machine close to you, look into it by actually finding the machine and talking with that's machine's route or store manager (use the phone number provided on the list).
*EDIT: I would also like to note I made a minor mistake in my report, the ITG 2 dedicab is located in Michigan and not New York. Sorry if this affected anyone.
