Sorry there are no Power Mixes in the Universe series of DDR, only in DDR Ultramix 4 for the original Xbox Please click here or theres the X Mixes from DDR X Click here

They are 5 Power Mixes in DDR Universe 1, and I don't remember regarding the second, but no one has the audio, or patience to step them it seems...

There are 5 in Universe 1 and 5 in Universe 2.WAH WAH WAAAAAAAAAH
Anyway, the thing about Power Mixes is that they can't be accessed in Training Mode (only the Power Mode in Party Mode). All the Universe mp3s are gotten through lineouts, so to take the Power Mixes would require doing a lineout during gameplay. Also you can forgive the guy doing the lineouts for forgetting to do them after he's been recording 60+ songs through Training Mode. Rather him than me.

Do your research first before saying things.UNIVERSE 1 Power Courses
1. acid-tech mix / dj nagi
2. Shuffle Mix / Stillwind
3. south beach mix / dj nagi
4. subTranced mix / DJ Jiggens
5. On The Floor Mix / Midihead
UNIVERSE 2 Power Courses
1. Funky House Mix / DJ Diode
2. Progressive Mix / DJ Kale
3. Faster Harder Mix / DJ Diode
4. Global Mix / DJ Kale
5. Aggro Mix / DJ Catzilla
UNIVERSE 3 has no Power Courses.
As for SIMFILES of them, like Oni-91 said, the mp3s were made from lineouts in Training mode, and you can't play the power courses outside of Party Mode.

Lord Toon, an awesomely talented GFX maker here, made them. However, he doesn't accept requests, and (without wanting to sound rude), you'll need plenty more than two posts to get one. I'd make one for you, but I just got a new PC without Photoshop and I'd also hate to steal LT's thunder.
Also I think someone already has an R3 banner.

Even still, when you beat Quest Mode for UNIVERSE1/2, it tells you that you've unlocked Power Mix 5.
...Unless you don't play Quest Mode, in which case, how can you be satisfied playing only the initial songlist?

Universe 2 was easy to clear, but I probably wasn't paying attention as to what was being unlocked, I just wanted to unlock all the songs. Don't get me started on Universe 1 I've got about 2-3 songs left to unlock and at this point its a PITA so I gave up on those, if they had stuck with the traditional unlock system I would have Healing Vision Gridlok Mix unlocked by now. However I'm satisfied that I have stepmania so I don't have to go through the BS.

You should get it after you beat the Championship on both of them. It's the same style window that tells you you've unlocked a song, but it shows the Power Mix 5 background as though it were a typical song background.

I'm aware of that trick and it's still a PITA. It really stinks that there isn't any cheat codes or an Action Replay, I'm full aware that doing so could mean the banhammer from Microsoft/Xbox Live.

Update: okay I checked both games and I do have all the power mixes unlocked and officially have 3 songs left to unlock drivin', Love Me Do and Treble. I think that Treble would be the hardest to unlock since I have yet to see an offer pop up for the state of Illinois. Also of interesting note when you go to Albany, NY your not in Upstate NY your in NYC, NY boy someone doesn't know their geography very well
