It's a good veteran badge, but it can also be the badge of a spammer (nobody here takes spamming too far, but if your rating increases at a slow rate compared to your post count, that's cause for concern.

I don't like being second on the list. Why am I, user #2503, the second highest poster, ahead of many regulars who have been around longer? I went from over 10 a day to about 3 a day, so at least three people are apt to pass me before too long.

Uh--I mean, yeah, fuck high post counts.

Since you guys don't remember, I'll repeat it for you.
All post counts are live. The forum software goes and counts how many posts by you exist in the database. So no, it is not possible to freeze your post count number or anything like that.
Unless of course Al's changed it in the last couple months to reduce database load.

I'm fine with Al deleting all of Bolt-Edge's posts though. Very Happy

I'll admit I'm not familiar with the forum software, but if it is a usermade forum, I don't see why it can't be tweaked to simply display "0" instead of retrieving the count feed and displaying that.
