I have 33 dollars, so I was just wondering if it was a good idea to get DDR Hottest Party?

Go for it. You'll most likely get hooked on the series so buying HP1 would be a great start as a first DDR game.
Just know that when you buy another DDR game, it'll take some getting used to playing on the new game since you'll be used to the feel of HP.

Don't... it honestly isn't that good, if you are getting a Wii version, go for HP2.

I got DDR hottest Party everyone! I'm amazed at the game I really am. I'm now officially a light ddr person

loooooooool, i was playing hp 1 a few weeks ago & didnt find 1 stepchart enjoyable. so i turned it off. HP2 is only a little bit better.
i would have said, for a first game, get MAX or MAX 2 US.

Hottest Party is fun if you don't mind the stepjumps and lack of speed mods. If you can find it, DDR Mario Mix plays on the Wii as well and is even more beginner-friendly. It has a lot of Mario and classical remixes.
