Not being in Canada/US means I can't get it, but still, they're still producing them! I think it's the same as 3, but with Wii/GC support and fixed cables, so you don't lose 'em.
Hey, if I can find a way to get one over here, maybe keeping hold of my Unleashed games was a good idea.

Also, my cash flow's crap atm. (And I don't think my parents will approve of it. Just checked, and yeah, I'm 18 and they won't let me do it. Brilliant.)

I think if my REACT professional series dance mat dies out I'll get one. saying IF because this thing has been relentlessly stepped on by a 245 lb teen for nearly 12 months now and is still working strong...XD

*Internal testing shows the Ignition 5.0 dance pad to be compatible with both Wii DDR Hottest Party 1 & 2 software.
I laughed at the bolded statement. I remember previous iterations of this dance pad being compatible with the GameCube. Which begs the question, are the Hottest Party dance pads nothing but GameCube (Mario Mix) dance pads with a different appearance?Post #6 · Posted at 2009-04-10 10:23:09pm 16.2 years ago

I noticed this a couple of weeks ago on accident. And I was combing the Vegas Game Stops for any remaining Ignition 3 pads. Only found one though.
Best soft pads ever created, only home pads I've ever been able to play DOUBLES well on.

Lucky you.
I was trying to find some Ignition 3.0s here in Jersey.
Closest one is in NYC.

I actually got one employee to contact regional to look for more of them and they said that a store in Baytown Texas had FIVE!

Wait, why aren't you all buying them direct from RO Online?

Oh crap. Didn't see that. Great deal but it just shows that Gamestop doesn't have much faith in the DDR franchise anymore. Depressing.

No, the Ignition 3s went EOL years ago and corporate marked it down to get rid of them. Game Stops still sell a bunch of other brands of pads including the official Konami one if you are so lucky to find it. I think Game Stop is aware how acutely popular a market dancing games are and how well those games sell.

How the hell did you even get that to work? I tried like 4 of those React brand pads, and they all instantly sucked. I hoped on and instantly Great Attacked everything, and I had like 50+ pad AAA's on CS games beforehand, so I'm not the problem. I honestly don't know if all the pads I got were defective, or the brand sucks, but either way I'm never buying from React again.

These look really nice. I've been needing new pads and the ignition is always a top choice. I've needed a USB pad too for a while now.

I can't find the official Konami pads for PS2, Xbox or Xbox 360 anywhere outside of bundles, besides KonamiStyle. I'd like to get my hands on a 360 pad, as I do plan on getting Universe 3 (have the first two, but no pads). I've only seen a Konami pad outside of a bundle, and that was the Wii one for $30 at Best Buy.Post #17 · Posted at 2009-04-27 12:15:30am 16.2 years ago

I guess I got one of the good ones then

Plus the 7 Year warranty it comes with was nice too.

I still have an Ignition 3 from a year and a half ago, lol. Even after spilling Frank's Red Hot on it, and having a friend's little brother poke a hole in the right arrow with a screwdriver, it still works good enough for me to get AAA's
I'm thinking about getting one of these Ignition 5's though, because the pad that came with HP2 sucks.
