Seriously? If they're cutting DDR videos, that's gonna be killer for me and several others. What the hell's the reasoning behind this?

Maybe it has to do with the soundtrack not available for purchase yet. That's my only guess as I don't follow IIDX stuff through Yotube.

Sounds like this was a result of that IIDX Empress thing, where idiots on YouTube decided to post IIDX Empress unlocks, and Konami got pissed and removed nearly all Empress movies. It doesn't look like Konami actually went out and sought these videos, but filed claims against some videos, and YouTube noted that your videos had content that matched. For the record, all 224 of my videos (100% of which are Bemani related) are still intact, including all three A Geisha's Dream versions.
EDIT: Actually, scratch that. My Bust A Move video has a "content match", but not from Konami obviously.

Yeah, almost all my EMPRESS videos got removed from YT a while ago, all that's left is the non line-in videos.

My only guess is this:
When an account gets suspended because of copyright claims, EVERY video they ever uploaded has the message "This video has been removed due to copyright infringement" or whatever, even if that was an original video or something. If that's the case, then perhaps YouTube flags the content of every video a suspended person has and puts it on its "Content ID" list. That's just a wild guess though.

Looks like YT is doing an all out music copyright holocaust. One of my movies got removed by WMG.
I guess the good news is that you don't get a strike for it. I just don't understand how KONAMI is fine with it one day, then has an bitch fit about it the next.
I'm telling you, it's going to be BS stuff like this that will make YT nothing more then a fad.

Next, all CD-i YTPs will be removed for "Copyright Infringement." Like Philips or Nintendo even cares about them. But Youtube would have gone crazy by that time.

It's high time they cleaned up the shit (pun intended) and I will not miss any YTPs that get removed.
