X Special Banners

Seeing as the Paranoia & Trip Machine Specials where not on the JP CS, how (and who) is going to make them?

Now I know one of z-i-v's talented artists such as Toon and Oni-91 or bolt could create the bottom to the banner and one of them probably has the text in one of their art programs. And then you just scrunch up the banner a little and whala! But I am not talented so someone else should do it.

Or are we going to do what we did with Faint and Beautiful Life and capture/steal them of the screen as countless other X specials come out (such as max 300 x special).
Just planning ahead.

It's not really that hard lol. Alan had made the banners for the Groove Radar Specials before we had their banners, and they looked almost exactly the same.

Well, there will be a problem when it comes to the new PARANOiA X-Specials, because of the change in fonts. We'll be able to use the one of PARANOiA MAX, but some of the other ones can be tough.

I think with a little photoshop magic, you can take the white Paranoia text from the new PN MAX banner and, edit out the old text on the original Paranoia banner and paste the new font over it.

Eh, either that or the banners will get ripped eventually, even sooner hopefully since it is PC hardware.

Speaking of ripping, how did someone get Beautiful Life and Faint banners? Those are AC exclusives, correct?

Beautiful Life is kinda low res, I don't think it was ever really ripped given its extremely limited appearance.

Faint, along with Me Against The Music were ripped from the SN2 AC disc (how I have no idea).
Given that X is on a hard drive, I can't believe they haven't been ripped yet, perhaps Konami has buffed up encryption on the game or something.

Since Beautiful Life was limited and low rez, I designed an alternate version:

Wow, the Trip Machine banner looks very official.
But, I remember seeing the PARANOiA banner with a new font in some DDR X AC videos, like in the Japanese CS version (see Paranoia MAX ~Dirty mix~)

If anyone knows the font for the PARANOiA one, let me know so I can change it. As for TRIP MACHINE, That is the official banner, I used the DDR 1st MIX arcade rip to give a sharper image to it...and stretch the sides a bit...//

I just realized that I don't have the Original mix of the Paranoia... I need to see if the rip from SN2 JP is the new one though... (but I somewhat doubt it is the new version...)




Might just be me but is it written "X-Speclal" instead of "X-Special"?...

I just noticed that right now...I did spell it right. It seems that when I shrunk the font to fix, The "i" merge to look like a "l".//

By the way, the new font for PARANOiA doesn't seems to be Matrix.. There are slight differences... I think I know the font.. I need to dig it up...
