Everyone knows the annoying kids that wander onto the ddr pad while you are playing or want you to quit your round so they can play?

I don't have a story about a kid, but I was over a friend's house once, and they have a dog. We were playing DDR SuperNOVA, and the dog was stepping all over the pad.

Yeah that happened to me one time.. There was a line of us to play and we all put some tokens into one of those holders that tells you who plays next. While we werent watching some kid took them. Thankfully we saw him scampering off so we caught him before he could spend them

Haha, the first time I played at home after getting my puppy, he was watching me and promptly started barking the dance pad.

Haven't hit anyone yet, but one time I had to gently shoo a little kid off the dance pad in between songs. The mom started to yell at me and I apologized profusely. I was really, really insulted by the fact that she was getting mad at ME for not wanting to hit her kid, and I wanted to deck her. But I didn't. Yay self-restraint! =D
Lots of times I'll turn around for a quick glance after doing well on a song to see if anyone saw, only to find one or a few little kids staring at me in awe. I smile and wave. I know, I'm kinda pathetic in that respect. >_>

One time, I was playing Rhythm and Police at the arcade, and a kid was just standing beside the mat, and I could tell he wanted to push me or something, but I slipped, fell, and nailed him in the face with my leg. He went *smack* against the window (the machine is by a window), and his mom blamed him for standing to close to the mat! I unfortunately failed the song though. Oh well!

Good thing, but why were you wearing flip flops for DDR? Or was it one of those, "I'll just go play DDR" type of things?

Uh, yeah, either they're trying to get on the pad when I'm about to start a song thinking they can play, or hitting arrows randomly when they pass by the machine.
Luckily, nobody has made me fail a song unless you count the arcade staff not maintaining the machine.

pesky kids that wander on the pad when i playing doubles? I just stepped on their feet and shove them away (either I push them OR their babysitter/mom pull them back and aren't mad at me; they're realizing that it was their fault)
