How are DDR MAX songs listed?

I never understood... they're not in alphabetical order, or BPM order, or anything. How are they listed?

By light rating I think?

What DDRMAX version your talking about?

...if i remember correctly, the FIRST song that pops up is Remember You and then if you move to down the foot rating gets higher and eventually drops you to PARANOiA EVOLUTION (which i think was the hard song for the default list), then you get the unlocks (i have no idea of the order for that...i think it went by ABC for unlocks not sure), then the BOSS songs and that's about it.

I recall Boss song in between default and hidden songs. I think the last song on the hidden list was Trip Machine Climax. Or was it Paranoia Max (Dirty mix) Version 2?

For me it threw the boss songs in between the default list and the unlocks...and the unlocks aren't by ABC because Rhythm and Police comes before Love This Feelin'....I have no idea how it's sorted...

The last unlock was Drop The Bomb (SysSF Mix). I'll never forget the disappointment of playing 500 songs, and unlocking a song I don't like.

Some songs had multiple ways to unlock. For example, Drop The Bomb (SySF Mix) was unlocked by playing 500 sings or clearing the HARD CORE oni course...

Reminds me of a time when I was playing DDRMAX once (home version) and tried the Roulette. The Roulette would sneak in MAX 300. I'd go back to the song wheel later, thinking MAX 300 was in the list, but it would only pop up in the Routlette.

They had some weird ways to unlock songs in MAX CS Don’t count me on any of these, but.

Get Extra Stage to unlock Silent Hill

Fail 5 times to get Celebrate

Play 250 songs for Spin the Disk.

DROP THE BOMB -System S.F. Mix-... Play 500 Songs

Hm, I thought it was the light rating...but it doesn't quite match up.

But that is how it works for DDRMAX2 AC

Compare the blue (MAX) songs on 7th mix vs. 6th mix (yes even though there are no ratings)(ignore the 5 songs that were removed, plus MAX300 and Candy) It doesn't fully match up.

...OR you could pass the last Oni course and get it through there...(IMO, it's the most fastest and easiest way to get it...controller or pad).

I always thought they where listed as to what songs where done first when they where first making the game, thats what I thought, so I guess I was wrong XD
