I'm very sorry to have kept you waiting since my lead-in the other day (Note: He's referring to a post he made several weeks ago in which he revealed he was excited about something, but could not reveal any information about it)

There may be some people who saw the notice of the broadcast already, but Asahi National Broadcasting will broadcast "Industry Technology Hunter Gyotech" next Friday (December 12) starting at 25:20. We appear on the show and take up the topic of Dance Dance Revolution in relation to the Game Soft Industry.

We talk with the cast members, and they play on the new machine (The DDR X machine), among some other things.

They filmed quite a lot of playing, but I'm not sure what scenes they will be using. I'm excited to see what they decide to use!

[b]DDR X Arcade Edition Shipment Information!

"Everyone, sorry for making you all wait!

I have made everyone wait for the shipment date of the Arcade Edition of Dance Dance Revolution X, but now it will be announced here! It seems it will be on time to be released in the year of DDR's 10th Anniversary!

And it is also Christmas time now...

The delivery of the new machine will begin on December 24th!

Has it already been one year since we went around the country for Area Fan Meetings? Seems so... (Note: During the release of SN2, members of the DDR staff held several meetings around Japan to meet players and get feedback)

I was worried last year whether people would be able to come to the Area Fan Meeting in Kagoshima on December 24th of last year, but there was a great turnout! I remember hearing someone tell me "Thank you for holding this event of Christmas Eve". They were being very modest as they celebrated Christmas.

So, the last adjustments are going to be performed in order for many stores to have the game during the 10th Anniversary.

Also, I'm sorry, but it doesn't seem you'll be able to use our web search for stores until after December 25th..

First DDR X Machines Building

Long time no see! This is the first time since SuperNOVA that there will be someone else in charge. This is DDR X Programmar Yama Mochio speaking, not U-San, sorry!

Today, I snuck into the factory where they are making Dance Dance Revolution X machines. As a programmar, I had much influence on Dance Dance Revolution, but originally I worked on home game systems, and I had never set foot in the places where they make the DDR machines.

So, what kind of place is it?

Well, I'll go into the factory and you can see...Oooooh!



A lot of DDR X machines are lined up! They are being made right in front of your eyes! If one were to make one by hand....well....



...And number 1 has been completed! Power on!

Oooh, the machine is shining, the music is flowing, I'm deeply moved by it!

So, the new machines are in production as we speak. Please wait a little longer for the release date!

A picture showing the DDR X Cabinet and the Furu Furu Party package has been included on the official site of Gyotech. How exciting!

Next is the news of a radio broadcast. Super-Popular radio actress Yuu Kobayashi's radio program features U1-Asami-san and he talks about Furu Furu Party! U1-San said "I'm embarassed, so you don't have to put it on the blog...but please check to see what kind of comments people have made about me".

It'd be great if he was here to present DDR X , also, that huge number of DDR X cabinets at the factory, do Japanese arcades really get that many new cabinets? I know arcades are dead here in the US, but that is a pretty big amount of cabinets, possible any of those could be headed stateside?

Furu Furu Party Interview Number 3 - jun, the Sequel.

Hello there, this is DDR Furu Furu Party's Rena.

This is the 3rd interview done for Furu Furu Party. Bemani staff, I hope you all can come stop by for a chat.

So, I'll start again with another interview of singer/songwriter jun. For those who haven't seen the first interview, please go back and read both of these.

Rena: You made some very nice songs for Furu Furu Party this time, jun-san. Pleae introduce yourself!

jun: Right, I produced a lot of music that appears in this title. Thanks to the music production, arrangement, MC etc., I was very busy, but I did what I never could have done, and I'm very grateful. My songs and world were also expanded beyond the style of "Happy Core" into much wider genres. I think everyone will be happy when they can play them.



Rena: jun's world is expanding every day, isn't it.

...MC?

jun: Did I say MC? You see, I'm talking in the Lesson song "Lesson2 by DJ". I say something like "Ha-i Minna!"...This is a little awkward..

Rena: Huuuuuuuh? jun-san, what the-? Oops, the blog readers aren't supposed to know about that yet, are they?

jun: I wanted to say "Tanoshimi ni!", but I was embarassed to say that...Anyways, this part of the conversation is put on hold until the release date, the 18th!.

Rena: Oh dear...It's regrettable that I can't tell everyone.

Rena: The new Arcade game DDR X and the new Wii game DDR Furu Furu Party share the same "DDR" name, but they seem entirely different, don't they? What is this difference to jun in these games?

jun: That's right. To say it in one word, DDR X is "cool" and Furu Furu Party is "pop". But they are both the DDR that both children and adults can enjoy. I think if you want to play noisily by shaking the control with your family, you should play the Wii edition. You can really feel pleasure as you exercise!

Rena: I've been feeling like playing some Furu Furu Party. jun-san, dance with me now!

jun:eh? Is that U.G. over there?

Rena: U.G., go over there! This is an important place right now!

jun: Do you...dislike U.G.? How sad...*sob*.
