You guys should put IIDX official simfile catagories here. you know how oyu can go to the BEMANI link at the menu bar and it has a list of games? well when you go to the ddr link at the bottom it has simfiles. it should be that way for beatmania too.

The problem here's that not enough people play IIDX sims compared to DDR sims.
EDIT: Why the hell did that get posted twice!?

that and the fact that they are larger than the usual zip file for DDR simfiles.

Good point. I don't think there really is a need for official iidx bms files here. Fan-made ones won't do since bemanistyle already has that one covered. I think we're fine with just DDR similes for now.

Where can you get an IIDX simulator anyways?
Whoops, nevermind. I found one just now, Lunar Rave 2. Any good from it?

I use Be-Pachi Music. That covers OGG files.

Haven't tested it yet the last time I dabbled into iidx simulation. I've always used Be-pachi with it's "to your face" direction
of the notes. But it should be more like the real one with the overhead view of the notes.

You can get the overhead view. You have to change the theme to Moon Power 2D.
Personally, I find Lunatic Rave a bit too difficult for me to set up.

dude just install SM4 and the "Barnote" noteskin and the theme Rehash then in options set scroll to reverse and set the controls to four buttons of your choice ASDF recomonded and there you have it! A BM IIDX like simulatiuon.
This doesn't work anymore! do you have any idea where it went?

Well, is there a massively supported BM simulator? I've been hoping to get my hands on one, but I've been looking for an "official" simulator if you know what I mean. I don't want to use some random Sim I find that almost nobody else uses.
Is there a unity in file systems? My biggest fear is that I get a sim that has the fewest users and therefore the fewest files to plant in. I don't want to have to do it all myself.

Lunatic Rave 2 is probably the best, and not as hard to set up as the first one.
Also, all simulators use the same BMS/BME files so there isn't a problem there.

I have a question about the Lunatic Rave 2 simulator. Where exactly do you put the BMS folders?
EDIT: Nevermind, I think I figured it out.
