I dunno... I was never a fan of much that appeared on Toonami... besides Rurouni Kenshin, of course. Main thing is that I don't really get into all that much stereotypical "shounen" anime...
Keep clear... fat man dancing! Seventeen stone and grooving with the best of them Smile

We lost it here in the UK a long time ago as part of CN, it had it's own channel. In the UK, it really has turned to shit, it should have been canned a long time ago. It has a completely different look and shows, with some stupid blob things as the mascot. I'll always remember it when it was awesome for showing Dragon Ball and Batman of the Future though. Good times.

I still have one of the Soundtracks for Toonami somewhere, it's pretty cool too.
Ah well, I'll miss Tom.

Aside from a small handful of shows, this is pretty much true.

I miss the old days of CN when it was Dragonball Z, Dexter's Laboratory, and Johnny Bravo. and Powerpuff Girls. Don't you judge me...

I just remember that around the time I stopped watching CN, all those shows were gone except Dexter's Laboratory which instead turned all creepy and wierd. Instead it was then Camp Lazlo, Kids Next Door, Billy and Mandy, which that was IT and they all sucked. I did however, like Megas XLR, which was good mainly because it was on TOONAMI!!

Edit: Oh and btw, WTF is up with Tom in that video?

"o_O?"
I actually watch CN for the mindless cartoons on nowadays, mainly for Chowder and Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack. I need that kind of mindless entertainment without having to turn to MTV.

Cartoon Network is about to see how low ratings can REALLY GO. Even though I'm not a Toonami fan (used to like it during the DBZ times), I know the massive amount of people that will be pissed at Toonami's passing. I'm going to miss Tom and his various "costume" changes.

So now that this happened... what exactly is taking the place of Toonami during Saturday nights? Annoyed
The Heavens! The Earth! And a million squirrels call to me! Huh? What...they don't?

It was the best show they ever had, even if it got bad by the 2nd session. That or DBZ.

I noticed the "Bang" is a Cowboy Bebop reference. I think it's even the same voice actor.Wink

Yup, it's Steven Jay Blum. Awesome voice actor.

I was more wondering, whats with his appearance? I'm guessing it's TOM's latest incarnation, but c'mon he looks like Flick from A Bugs Life. Also, his "ship" now seems to be a jungle base or something.

As you can see, I haven't watched it in like 2 years. Laughing Hard

I think they were on TOM4, and he didn't even have a ship, or Sara anymore. I guess it was good that they kept the same voice actor for him, but Toonami was on the verge of death for a while. Personally, I don't think there's anything worthwhile on TV anymore, which is why I don't watch it and DL whatever I do want to see.

ps in loving memory of Toonami:

Broken Promise (Dreams)

I had no idea Toonami was still on TV, but I guess that's the cost of having a job and work to do. Smile

Adult Swim took over for all the stuff I liked about Toonami, but it's always sad to see things like that come to an end.

Speaking of cancelled shows, I read in my newspaper that final episode of TRL would be on November 8, 2008

The only time you get to see ACTUAL music being played on MTV, will be no more. So I geuss now MTV is just 24 hours of crappy acted out gameshows & boring reality shows Annoyed

But thank God for MTV Hits Very Happy
