Neither. I don't even think the two of them were their party's best candidates... or even their second-best... (for the Democrats, my top two were Richardson and Clinton, and for the Republicans, it was Romney and Fred Thompson).
I'm voting for Bob Barr for President (Libertarian Party candidate), but, as a Rothbardian anarcho-capitalist, I'm Republican leaning by default. Most of the capitalists were kicked out of the Democratic Party years ago

Both of them are losers really.
I preferred Hillary or Ron Paul.

Neither.
Whichever one gets in, I hope they do something about the country's debt. That oddly rarely comes up in debates from what I've seen.

What are you talking about, it's obvious that the only thing we need to focus on is
CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE
In all seriousness, they should BAN that word from Presidential speeches to make them all more meaningful.

As long as it wasn't Huckabee, I'm happy. If you have to use Chuck Norris jokes to make you win an election, you shouldn't be in politics.

Agreed... although, in his case, Chuck Norris was campaigning for him. I'd chalk it up to temporary insanity... everybody makes mistakes, after all. Huckabee would certainly qualify as such

Ugh, don't even get me started on that.
My Dad thought he was so cool looking up Chuck Norris jokes on the internet after Huckabee had that commercial with Chuck. Too bad he didn't realize that the Chuck Norris thing has been over and done with for years.

No, we don't need a (insert party here) candidate in office.
We just need a good candidate. Something we're not getting in this election. Blind party loyalty is stupid. You should ALWAYS vote for the guy who seems like a more solid candidate and generally follows your beliefs. This is NOT always the same party. Even hardcore Democrats will say that Ronald Reagan was a great president.
I just wanna get this mentality that ANY Republican will be "FOUR MORE YEARS OF BUSH" out of peoples' heads. You might think that with McCain, but please don't stick it on the entire party.
...And this is why America needs to sponsor more than two major parties.

I'm not blindly loyal to any party, it's just that I disagree with the general policies of the GOP. I agree that America should sponsor more than two major parties. I might like those parties better than the Democrats, but I've never seriously considered them because by throwing away my vote for the Democrat, I'm actually supporting the GOP.

Though I'm not a US citizen, I know enough to care about what will happen after the US elections; for me, I want to learn of their foreign policies first, as those will matter the most for us here in the other side of the world.

I just have to sit by and shake my head; due to my field, I tend to naturally gravitate to a fringe area of the political landscape. I'm a former member of both political parties; I started off as a youth activist for the Democratic Party, leaving it for the GOP in 1999, and then left the Republicans in 2003. I've spent the time since as an independent with libertarian leanings.
The problem for me is I'm largely a single-issue voter... and the Democrats are absolutely hideous on that one issue, and the Republicans aren't much better, and they're moving closer to the Democrats than they are to me. And people wonder why the economy sucks...
