Obviously, this thread is a SSIA (Subject says it all).

Anyway, here you can tell about your nicknames, if you just made up your mind, or got it from somewhere. (if you want to).

Me? Well, Nightmare comes from the song Dream to Nightmare, plus the fact that I've been plagued by nightmares ever since I was 14.

And then "Akumu", is just simply "Nightmare" in japanese

"An" is a shortened version of my given name, "xD" is an emoticon.

First letter of my first name + first two letters of my last name + my birthday + an extra '0'

EDIT: I actually wanted to propose to my parent to have my name changed to J. Valentine, like Jill Valentine from Resident Evil... But don't be mistaken with her name XD.. lol

Both I and her first name started with J... People will start to think I am her brother...

I've used "Royboycrashfan" and variations of that for awhile now. The first part is pretty obvious (Roy is my name). "Crash" is the Degrassi couple I was shipping. Now I don't keep up with that show.

ESG are my initials, so when I couldn't think of anything cool to use, I just stuck with it. I use it in most places I register to.

Also, Shadow Man was one of the most badass bosses in MM3! I still preferred Snake Man though.

mine is from my favorite game, and since FINAL FANTASY IV was moved to the DS, I pretty much stuck with it for a while.

Standintallinfor for me, I remember when my school had a little meeting about having screen names the same name as you, was bad. So I had to change it. Pretty much that username doesn't mean anything, I thought of it as

Standing Talling Over U, and putting that together would of sounded like StandintallinOU and well Ididn't like that, so I thought whats the coolest group that I know that sings. J-POP BEFOREU so I just took the FOR and added at the end of my username.

I mentioned this in the intro thread, so I'll say it again here.

It's the name of the giant sword that crashes into Bowser's Keep in Super Mario RPG. If only Square-Enix decides to let Nintendo re-release the game for the Nintendo DS...

Mine is pretty simple: The first part comes from the fact that I'm left-handed (when writing). The numbers refer to my birth year (last 2 numbers of my birth year).

Super Mario RPG was all kinds of awesome.

My name originated from Golden Sun, obviously. It was such an awesomely fun game, and the second part on the GBA was my favorite GBA game ever.

About a week after I had beaten the second game, my friend who introduced me to Golden Sun then showed me RuneScape. (this was back when RS classic was the only thing around, I'm doubtful if even a few people here, if any, experienced that) I was reluctant to try this game out, but it was actually quite addicting-looking. I came up with some dumb username idea like "Tutti Frutti", "Tuti Fruti", and even some variant with numbers on it - all taken. Looking back on it now, it seems like a bit of a dumb username, anyway.

So I tried "Goldensunboy" with the idea that the name was certainly taken, but it wasn't! And I became Goldensunboy. At around level 32 combat in RuneScape, the profiles transferred to the very-3D RuneScape that it is now, and that's what I continued to play. I played on and off for several years, until a little before December 2007 when Jagex completely sacrificed their game to try to remove gold farmers. How utterly stupid.

So I also used this username on 3 or 4 different incarnations of Acmlm's ROM hacking board, Freewebs, Geocities, 1asphost, AIM, YouTube, Nico Nico Douga, Bemanistyle, and here. I probably forgot a few places, too.

E-S-G: Sometimes I wonder if using my initials would be enjoyably comical... AMW = America's Most Wanted.

well here is mine:
First Part: the "max" in my name pretty much says it all, i LOVE the MAX series, since MAX 300 first started all the way up to FAXX
Second Part: the "ninja" is due to how i like ninjas, they are quick and precise, kinda like me when i play DDR (lol)
Third Part: the three numbers of my old apartment...and the place where i started my DDR "quest"

and that be my nickname =)
