I have exclusives like:
Beat it/michael jackson
Cats eye/ Erotic

and some cartoon network music

I loved how I just got rated from 8 to 2

You're NOT the only one getting negative ratings, or whose rating is in the red. You wanna know the actual answer to your question? My guess is because you, amongst other people here, contribute nothing to the varying topics at hand. I admit to contributing nothing on rare occasions, but most times I share my knowledge with people here while at the same time learn from others.

It's just a number, not a big deal. I personally don't even use the user ratings, Everyone is at 0 for me.

Because i'm the new dynimite

my rating is 8.9 and in 1 hour, it downed to -99999999999.9

Should I stay with dynimite or go back to mr_game_and_watch

does it matter?

To answer your question, your rating went down because:

-People frown upon multiple accounts, and you should have stuck with one account.

-People are generally annoyed when someone posts a thread advertising their simfiles, unless there's a large number of them; you only advertized two, and didn't even link to the category, so people found this thread to be a nuisance.

-You aren't using grammar and punctuation properly. Capitalize the first letter in every sentence (you already do that some), use a period at the end of every sentence (I see none of that), and do not type in ALL CAPS.

-Your sentences are not coherent. Your third sentence made no sense whatsoever to me. It may be fine to type with abbreviations and no punctuation in cellphone texts or in instant messengers, but this is an internet forum; proper etiquette includes coherent, gramatically correct dialogue.

-Don't complain about your rating. Quite frankly, it makes you sound whiney, and will result in more people rating you down.

And that's all I can think of, the biggest thing you should touch on is the grammar and punctuation. I don't even read someone's post all the way through or consider it to have any real meaning usually, if they contain such a sheer lack of grammatical quality that it looks like they texted their post to Zenius-I-Vanisher via cellphone. (however one happens to do that...)

Anyways, like Exor said, you need to contribute more in your posting. Simply posting 'I had a dream Nijiiro was on here', and then doing it again a few days later, is not really what people like to see when they look at a thread.

Not that you need to contribute new screenshots or song confirmations, but your post should add something of value to the discussion, even if it's just your opinion.

Hmm, I disagree. I really was disappointed by switch because it was both TERRA and Daisuke Asakura working together and it was a pretty bland, it was just sort of a letdown for me. The stepchart is ok, but is nothing special. I think they could have replaced that song with something better.

Example 1's response to the quote is very simple. The poster doesn't like the song switch, but does not give a reason for it. He gives no points in which the original poster (or someone else) could contrast their opinions beyond the basic "I like it vs. I don't like it". Also, calling Junko Karashima a skanky hoe is probably a good way to get your user rating below -100.

Example 2's post conveys the same basic message as Example 1. The poster does not like the song switch. But he gives various reasons for it: He was disappointed by it, he expected more from the pairing, he didn't care too much for the stepchart etc. etc. Also notice the use of "I think" and "I disagree" and just "I" in general. The first example made a bold statement of fact, while the second example clearly showed that the poster was expressing his opinion.

So, as you see, Example 1-type posts are a big no-no. Though it only really explains an opinion-type posting situation, I think some of the rules there can apply to any type of posting.

In short: think before you post! Forums are not instant messaging conversations!

Be glad you're not on DDRFreak. You'd just get people insulting you for your "stupidity" instead of the constructive criticism above.

You do realise that could encourage forum users to reach for the -5 button on both accounts. User ratings exist for a reason, y'know. You don't want to reach -100 now

That reminds me; can I suggest a system to be implemented which prevents multiple registrations under the same IP or email address (or other unique identifiers)?
