Looking for Universe version of My only Shining Star mp3...

Does anyone have a rip of this mp3? The version of My Only Shining Star in Universe sounds different than the one in the SuperNOVA.

I'm curious as to exactly what's different between the UNIVERSE and the original versions of that song, as I don't have a copy of UNIVERSE, let alone an Xbox 360.

I think the UNIVERSE version doesn’t have the male vocals.

I see (or hear)...no difference. It sounds just like the original SuperNOVA version. Unless my ears are deceiving me (most likely they are), it sounds a wee bit higher pitched.

... or may be I am just crazy for hearing some differences... >_<

It sounds like the back vocals are much louder in Universe?....

Becky's voice sounds really loud and Scott is louder in the beginning (if that's him)

i think they re-did the female vocal part as some parts that she sings are more longer than the one in SN. by what i heard, it looks like they put more effort into the song. maybe you should PM the person in charge of the Universe category

KKiONI, do you know who is in charge of Universe simfiles?...

...I'm listening to the version that appears in the IIDX GOLD soundtrack, and I think it's the one that they used in DDR Universe.

I say think because I've been listening to all of the versions that I have since I replied in thread earlier. My ears are going numb!

Anybody else wanna confirm this?

I'm really hoping that this song doesn't end up like PARANOiA MAX where there are a bunch of versions sounding different. >_< But unfortunately, it is.

The vocals were either re-recorded or they turned up the vocals. Listen to the vocals' pitch at 1:10 on the Youtube video and listen at 0:59 on the song from this site's simfile section. Also, the drums were toned down a bit, as one of the posters said on the Youtube replies. Contact Raf; he might be able to help you in geting the mp3

well im pretty sure it's Raf (here's the link to his profile). He's the one who uploads all (or most) of the Universe files so as an educated guess (lolXD i feel smart!) i'm guessing he's in charge of the universe simfiles

I don't think this is the one because the video jch02140 linked to had the song with male and female vocals.

Hold on, if you compare the Universe one and the SN one, there something with the techno part in the back. The universe one sounds more... choppy I guess?

I am not too sure. But the back vocals are definitely louder in Universe version... I want to get this version of MOSS for my collection purpose...
