About this Wrland Simfiles Archive

Hi everyone.

I wanted to make this post clearer and easier to understand for players, veterans, and anyone who checks these files later.

First, I want to apologize for the way I released some of my older simfiles. Looking back, I released many of them one by one, without a clear pack structure, changelog, or explanation of the charting direction. I understand now that this probably made the files harder to follow, easier to overlook, and less interesting for players to try.

That was my mistake, and I want to learn from it.

A lot of the older Wrland simfiles were made a few years ago. Some charts may include forced doublesteps, awkward movement, or tech-heavy patterns that may not feel natural for players expecting a cleaner DDR-style flow. Some charts may feel closer to ITG-style movement, while others were intended to be DDR-style but were not executed clearly enough.

I do not want to make this a “DDR vs. ITG” argument. I simply understand that some older charts did not clearly communicate their style, and that can be confusing for players.

For now, please treat this as an archive of older Wrland work, not as my current charting standard.

About K-POP DEMON HUNTERS

The DanceDanceRevolution with K-POP DEMON HUNTERS pack is still active and public on ZIv.

However, it is a separate public pack and should not be confused with this Wrland Simfiles archive. It is not part of this Wrland thread, and it is not part of the older oenmania archive.

I want to keep K-POP DEMON HUNTERS separate so players can understand it as its own release.

About this Wrland category

This ZIv category/thread is only for older Wrland archive material.

I may use it for selected older Wrland files, especially Season 3 and Season 4 archive material. This does not mean those seasons are active projects again. It only means some older files may remain available for archive purposes.

This category is not for K-POP DEMON HUNTERS, and it is not for oenmania.

About oenmania

I also have older oenmania simfiles, but I want to keep them separate from ZIv.

To avoid confusion, I am not planning to post the oenmania files in this ZIv category. I may only keep them as a separate .zip archive inside my Wrland folder on my personal Drive, mainly for preservation and organization.

Please treat oenmania as a separate archive, not as part of this ZIv release and not as my current branding.

About bergtour

I also want to clarify that S4 is cancelled as an active project.

After looking back at the charts, the feedback, and my current standards, I do not feel comfortable continuing it as a main public project. Some charts require a lot of energy, and some include forced doublesteps, unclear tech, or movement that may not fit a clean DDR-style flow.

This is not meant as drama or as a callout toward anyone. I simply think bergtour no longer represents the direction I want to take with my simfiles.

Some songs or ideas may be remade later, but if that happens, they will likely be cleaned-up versions under a different name or as part of a better organized pack.

bergtour itself will not continue as an active project.

Future release format

For future releases, I think it is better to release songs as organized packs instead of many isolated single files. A pack is easier for players to download, test, update, compare, and give feedback on. It also lets me include proper notes, ratings, changelogs, and a clearer explanation of what the pack is supposed to be.

I do not expect every release to get comments or interest, and that is okay. I understand that players have different tastes. I just want my files to be easier to understand, easier to test, and easier to discuss.

Going forward, I would rather focus on cleaner organization, clearer DDR-style flow, better testing, better ratings, and fewer scattered uploads.

Feedback is welcome

If anyone tries the charts, constructive feedback is welcome.

You do not have to play everything. Even feedback on one or two charts would help.

The most useful feedback would be about:

- forced doublesteps;
- awkward or unclear movement;
- charts that feel too ITG-like for a DDR-style release;
- ratings that feel too high or too low;
- songs that may be worth fixing or remaking first;
- whether future releases should be full packs, small themed packs, or beta packs first.

I may not be able to fix everything, but clear feedback helps me understand what players actually notice.

I edited the main post to make the information clearer instead of posting many quick updates or separate single-file posts. I do not want to spam the forum or bump the thread without a real update.

Veteran feedback is especially appreciated, but any honest and respectful comment is welcome. If something feels awkward, unclear, underrated, overrated, or worth saving, feel free to mention it.
