SuperNOVA: The Last, Trial 11?

In the home version of Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA, in Stellar Master Mode, I have read about this supposed Trial 11 in the joint 'The Last'. Apparently you must complete ever song on every difficulty; however, I have done that, made sure there was no mods on, etc. Yet nothing happens; I get no Trial 11, no complete message, and the Diamond EX Showdown is still locked. I also read you must have a certain amount of play time to get it, however, I have been attempting this joint for several days; nothing. So, anyone who has managed to get it...please tell me any secret requirements! I cannot stand it; Trial 8 is too difficult.

Does it want you to do them on Doubles too? I unlocked The Last but never got to beat it so I dunno for sure.

There is no 11th Trial on The Last. In Pizza Box, there's two trials which involve completing every song in the game: Getting AAs (Basic-Expert, options OK) or getting 8.5 million points (Expert-Challenge, options NG).

And yes, Trial 8 is evil, but don't give up. Use Note, and try Xepher Heavy (even use a controller if you have to). Then, try to do any two of Chaos Expert, HDV Expert or M300 Expert. Chaos is more of a memory test, if anything.

To unlock Trial 11, you must...

Beat mission 8.

That's right. Beat mission 8. The mission almost everyone has trouble on and the only alternative to that trial is blocked by the mission you can't beat.

Of course, the other alternative that I haven't tried is beating every song on every difficulty with no mods.

Just play all 25 charts again without mods. Maybe you missed something.

Chaos was the easiest AA for me, but then again I already knew all of the stops from playing the simfile here. Xepher Heavy isn't even a 10, and HDV used to be a 9. Just let us know if you're stuck on any particular sections.

I would recommend using the controller for those, though. You can use your left hand for Square/X and your right for Triangle/Circle, so it feels like Stepmania.

oh yes I remember getting the last card here.

You have to get passed 100% on that planet, to unlock pizza box, and pass the trial to get the last card.

I hope thats what you were talking about. It took me a very long time for more missions to appear on that planet, and for me to unlock the last card trial itself.

Okay, those who say there is no trial 11: WRONG!
Those who think you need to do trial 8 first: WRONG!
Those who say try every song on every difficulty, no mods: CLOSE!
You need somewhere between 1 and 2 hours (I'd have to play completely through again to be sure) play time in the joint.

Start with the beginner chart for each song, because it's the easiest.
The game will tell you when it's counted a song towards passing trial 11, when it does, move on to the next song.
Works just fine, and allows you to avoid Trial 8. But for Trial 8, remember, you can use all the mods you like.

I'm not sure if I've gotten trial eleven or not. I KNOW it exists, but the last time I played Stellar Master Mode, I played for ten hours on that joint, THEN tried every song, every difficulty, and nothing. Maybe there's more. Maybe, you have to get a certain grade or something with every song.

Oh yeah, what's trial 8 again =p

I know I got it with under 4 hours of play time on that joint, but I had all the cards from all previous joints, that might be one factor. Also, when I got it, Trial 8 was the only one remaining.

The Trial 8 requirements? You have to AA three different 10-footers.

Oh... I decided to do them on Challenge, and I chose Xepher, Chaos, and SMMM. It ONLY took 3 hours...
