Using Outfox DDR Themes For Other Modes?

Every time I try using any Outfox theme, other than the default one, for other modes that are not DDR (StepManiaX, Technomotion, etc.), many graphics are missing and / or it becomes extremely slow to navigate. The only one I've found so far that doesn't become slow, is XX-STARLiGHT, but then it looks like this:



I imagine this happens because the theme is expecting dance-single and dance-double to work with, or because of the difficulty names. Is there any way to make DDR focused themes work with other modes? Or, is there any Outfox theme (coverflow based) that works with StepManiaX and / or Technomotion?

EDIT: DDR A3 theme seems to work almost well enough to play. It just doesn't give me any song options, and also, every time I press left or right during gameplay, it changes the arrows speed in real time for some reason.

For the A3 theme you need to press / for options, and the menu buttons change the scroll speed. There is a note about that in the thread you got the A3 theme from.

Oh, thank you so much! I got the theme from Github, not from a thread, that's why I had no idea. I disabled the scroll speed thingy in metrics.ini and it works now. Thank you again!

It would be nice to have a working coverflow theme, though. Grid style is... sluggish.

You would have a much better time with grid navigation if you left that option intact in metrics.ini and turned on dedicated menu buttons so you could move up and down through the grid like you can on actual A3 (and all the other games using the grid).
