Pop'n's lifecycle has always been 2 years though, that's nothing to complain about. it's different for IIDX and other Bemani games, they all have different life cycles. IIDX has a new game one every year, it's been like this since forever. Also some games have more priority than others. IIDX is one of the most popular of the bemani games, so it gets the most attention.

Cal Arts isn't a style. It's an art school in California and their styles do vary a lot. Beatmania IIDX is a Japanese game so why would they be CalArts if California is in America and it's a Japanese game?
