I'm too scared to talk here out of fear that I'll be necroposting and get banned 
I'm still new to forum sites (despite this account being 4 years old) and I'm bad at this kind of stuff 
also does it apply to for fun topics or does it not?

as long as the post is relevant to the thread and not a bunch of bs you should be fine
it also depends on the type of thread (eg necroposting a thread of a forum game or of an outdated rhythm game installment is probably a bad idea)
if you're talking about the drawing thread you should be fine, don't worry about it

I think once I got warned for necroposting and I got worried so glad to know it's not that strict

Although English is my first language, I have difficulties with certain sayings (like "taking it with a grain of salt" which I didn't know what it meant until recently) and the definitions of certain words.
