I do find it weird that the number 31 has more text effects applied to it than the rest of the logo combined.

Kinda like...metropolis, huh? Nice! I see that 90s anime-esque cyber cityscape in the background there, I'm hyped! Cool that the E and I of Epolis are highlighted yellow since that's also like...a form of 31 lol. 1337 speak and all that.

Im always excited for new IIDX releases, but they have all gotten pretty homogenous to me. I cant really tell you what songs are from what games past Empress.

The J-Pop and IIDX Edition song here are interesting. The J-Pop song is the Tokyo Revengers ending and the IIDX Edition song is the Oshi No Ko opening, and hearing these you'd think Idol would be the one that's licensed as-is and not covered because it doesn't really... need it to fit IIDX.

I'm surprised Idol got in a Bemani game first as a cover. I thought they'd add the original version to jubeat or pop'n.

I checked Twitter and it seems most removed songs are from Bistrover with 10 (Sinobuz seems to have one song less so maybe Sweet Clapper's license finally expired?)

You and me both. It’s almost as if BEMANI is afraid of House music now.

I also agree that a sequel to Resort Anthem would be awesome. Hell, I almost wish that they would do direct follow-ups to past styles now. If I had to pick a previous style to get, shall we say, “REMiXED”, I would definitely choose DistorteD.

We already got a sort of sequel to Resort Anthem with Bistrover, which was a cross of both vacation and food it's fits the bright and vacation-y aesthetic RA had and then some. And what about That Feeling, Blue Bird and Wake Up Now from the recent mixes? At least there's some house in the current mixes. And as to follow ups of past mixes, I think the whole cyber thing is overplayed, we had it for 11 styles up until IIDX Red, and then Konami started experimenting with newer stuff which I loved, variety IMO is better than repeating older themes that were exhausting to begin with. it's nice to see Konami experimenting and taking risks with newer theme ideas than constantly repeating the whole cyber aesthetic.
