Saw this on the games list, but couldn't find this terminology used anywhere else online. What is the difference between a "normal" and "small" cab? Does the latter have a smaller display? Does the latter only have 1 cab instead of 2?

Heres the differences as an arcade tech, dealing with the small version was so much better.
Only difference is the screen size really. But thats about it. Its the same for Time Crisis 1(Solo), and 4.. 4 has 3 cabinets. Small, Big, and Deluxe.
