Hey everyone,

Konami’s official offerings (BEMANI Pro League, Konami Arcade Championship, etc.) are exciting—but they’re region‑locked, once‑a‑year, or limited to a small roster. Meanwhile, grassroots events like DDR Storm, East Coast Stamina, Infinity Stage, and the remote DDR Champions League prove there’s serious global demand for more frequent, open, and professionally produced competition.

Why start a new league?

* Konami’s circuits are mostly Japan‑only and infrequent.
* Community majors thrive but can’t maintain a year‑round ladder alone.
* Players want transparent rankings, regular match cards, and better streams.

Core vision:

* Monthly PPVs / Premium Live Events—twelve per year.
* Two to three Fight Nights every month (regional or online) that feed the rankings.
* Elo‑based dynamic ladder that updates after every bout—no waiting weeks to see movement.
* Production that feels like a real sports broadcast: walk‑in videos, multi‑cam pads, live EX overlays.
* Revenue split with host arcades and volunteer TOs so existing tournaments keep their independence.
(We will never overlap their dates, sponsors, or entrant caps.)

What we need right now:

* Arcades and tournament organizers willing to host 1–2 events a year.
* Players of all levels to play‑test the rules and ranking system.
* Stream talent—commentary, graphics, highlight editors.
* Developers to help finish the open‑source Elo and P4P engine (approx. 5–10 hours a month).
* Sponsors (hardware, apparel, energy drinks, etc.).

How to get involved

Reply with:
1. Your region and where you usually play (arcade or home).
2. The role you’d like to fill (player, TO, coder, sponsor, stream talent).
3. One thing Konami’s current system doesn’t provide that you wish existed.

When we reach twenty serious volunteers we’ll launch a Discord, share the draft rulebook, and publish a community calendar so every grassroots event keeps its rightful spotlight.
Let’s create the DDR league we’ve always wanted—bigger schedule, fair rankings, real hype—while fully respecting and supporting the awesome fan‑run tournaments already on the map.🕺🔥
