PRESENTS
It has been 10 years since I started making stepcharts, from DDR Kirby's Super Star RAVE! to Sushi Violation/OTVS. It struck me by surprise I've been doing this for so long and how far I've come to improve my work on steps and visuals. So I'm proud to announce a Public Participation set for June 7th, 2024!
What is Sushi Violation?
Sushi Violation is a series of abridged simfiles tailored towards the SM/ITG Community featuring the cat Sushi (R.I.P). Many of the stepcharts are extremely difficult, but lower levels do appear in the game and are constantly added over time in this special version. The game version replicates an experience similar to the Pump It Up series.
What exactly happens in an Public Participation?
It's real simple, you get early access to content, not limited to just stepcharts. You get the chance to test out new modes like the Kids Mode and Endurance Mode (coming soon), including having exclusive looks at stepcharts that can't be uploaded to YouTube because copyright reasons!!!
Does this mean the game is fully complete?
Nope. Not even close, Public Participation means you are open to finding bugs or messed up stuff and are expected to report them to me. Feel free to scream at me for anything I might break, because I guarantee something is going to crash this game.
When is the game considered complete?
November 22, 2024 is the target goal to completing this project, this is the date the first ever Sushi Violation simfile pack got released ten years ago. My biggest goal is to achieve over 300 songs and 500 charts. So far we're halfway to that goal...crazy, right?
How do I sign up?
Simply join the Sushiverse Entertainment Discord server and find the #sushiviolation2024 channel. When the Public Participation starts, periodic updates are uploaded in a new channel specifically for new content in the game.
How big is the base game?
It is around 8 GB. This game is packed with song movies and high quality assets, please make sure you have the space for testing, I'm expecting it to hit 10-20 GB by November.
