No. Absolutely not. I want my AAAs to be as honest as possible. Even if it's a simulator and not a real game, I'm certain my AAAs will start getting on the official DDR accomplishments thread once I get the chance to use a dancepad I own and pop in my three DDRMAX-EXTREME disks on my PS2, or, if luck goes my way, I get access to a DDR machine. 4's the default/closest to the official DDR difficulty and I want to stick with it. Of course, I don't want to go overkill with by setting it too far (PFCs would be alike to MFCs). However, I think getting these AAAs on Stepmania with this setting is improving my sense of rhythm.
I find this amusing that I got the doubles chart before the singles chart.

Oh yeah. You may notice I took screenshots in gameplay. These are genuine, I got the AAA in the play-through those screenshots contain. I make this a new challenge for easy songs. Get an AAA and take a screenshot of every individual background movie used. I succeeded for ODORU PONPOKOLIN (15 individual background movies);

I tried doing it with I SHOULD BE SO LUCKY on Doubles, but there's this one movie (the twisting blob in THE REFLEX and Holic) that keeps messing me up because it's timed on a place where it's hard for me to have a free hand to quickly hit Print Screen...

Background movie screenshot challenge!
SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW + A MINUTE (EXTENDED MIX) + I SHOULD BE SO LUCKY

The first 17 notes require two hands, but after that, I am free to hit the PrintScreen on wherever I want (sort of).

Probably the easiest out of all of these. I might go even further by taking a screenshot for every change (as opposed to only every individual movie) since it's easier.

The most challenging of the three. I had to chicken out many times because there are backgrounds movies in here I don't want being seen by passing by relatives. I commonly messed up around the speaker/flaky/toothy/turntable/blob movies. Once it gets to the spinning heart ring, you're out of the woods.
More to come once I get more sequences finished/songs AAA'd.
For the record, you only really have to include each movie once, the final arrow count (and still background), and the song AAA ranking. And all screenshots have to be taken within the successful attempt. I got a little bit snazzy by taking screenshots for the select music, the first arrow, and cleared background.

Exactly why I am making Max4, to be honest. I will always stick with DDR 1st-EXTREME.
Everything past Supernova2 just becomes too flashy, hippy, and.... just... is kinda boring in my eyes.

Actually, judge 4 in stepmania is closer to ITG timing windows than DDR. The marvelous window is about 21 ms compared to one frame (16.66) in DDR. Judge 6 would probably be more arcade accurate but it's practically impossible to replicate arcade timing in a simulators

I warned you on my last post I was gonna make my top 25 DDR songs. You're all welcome to agree and disagree. READY? HERE WE GO:
#25: So In Love - I never thought I'd ever have this song in my list of good DDR songs, but here it is. #25. So In Love. I used to hate this over-used song, but then a decade later comes, I start liking the song for some reason, I still (to this day) don't know why, but it's a solid #25.
#24: Candy (Star) - When I found out this song is on DDR Max (I bought this game AFTER buying Ultramix 1), I thought to myself "Oh boy, the first version of Candy! Hopefully it's not as terrible as Kosaka's version!" I didn't expect this song to be a boss song, so I was shocked when I saw this song in red letters when I unlocked it. (I barely used the internet until 2008). I played the song and my wish was granted! It's better than Kosaka's version, but it's just better than the higher 23 songs.
#23: Daikenkai - The song starts off with a medium BPM, then it speeds up near the middle of the song. The Challenge chart is abit TOO difficult for an 8-footer. However, J-Rock is one of my favorite music genres, and Daikenkai is J-Rock (I think). Also, don't you want to just start a mosh pit with this song? XD
#22: I'm for real - THE HEAVY CHART IS IMPOSSIBLE TO AAA---I mean despite its rhythmless chart, the song is good enough to listen to on your MP3 player or Music app on the phone. It's a lovely song. The stupid charts is why it's as low as #22, though.
#21: Theory of Eternity - I remember when I was playing that god-almighty awful DDR II game, and I unlocked this song. I saw the Triangle on the album cover and I thought to myself "Illuminati HUEHUEHUE" then played the song and actually enjoyed it. This was 1 of 2 good songs, IMO, from DDR II.
#20: Paranoia Hades - Paranoia songs used to scare me, I don't even know why. When I played SuperNOVA 2 and this song was the final mission, and I kept FAILING it, and I grew into this song and started loving it instead of fearing it. Thanks to the hard-ass final mission on SN2, I don't fear Paranoia songs anymore. Despite its difficulty on Hyper Master Mode, this song is worthy of being the final mission. The chart is fun (when you're not forced to get a big amount of points to actually pass it). And NO WAY is the Heavy chart a 9 footer! That's the HARDEST 9-footer I've ever dealt with!
#19: Trip Machine Survivor - I didn't think I'd put a Trip Machine on here, but I honestly love Trip Machine Survivor. All I think of is that dude running on the BG video on DDR Extreme. XD The chart was excellent too. I used to think this song was so damn difficult, but a few years later, after playing SN1 and SN2, the heavy chart is actually easy. Also, I prefer Trip Machine Survivor over Paranoia Survivor any day. Judge me.
#18: Drop the Bomb - In 2004, I remember receiving a bootleg DDR Extreme CD before DDR Extreme was going to be released. There was no guide or CD case, so I knew completely no songs on there. I remember hearing Drop the Bomb on the CD, and I thought to myself "I like this song! This is gonna be my new Jam!" But my dumb ass didn't know the song title. When I unlocked Drop the Bomb on DDR Extreme, I was happier than a little girl eating chocolate chip cookies.
#17: So Deep - Why is DDR Extreme the latest DDR to have this epic song in there? This song deserve popularity.
#16: bag - I love the song, I enjoy the steps, but I hate the extremely low BPM.
#15: Injection of Love (e) - First off, the Heavy chart is the hardest 7-footer chart I've ever played. Second off, I didn't like the song on Extreme 2, until I found out this song had lyrics, and the lyrics was fitting! This song went from "meh" to "awesome"
#14: Maximizer - Who DOESN'T love this song?!
#13: Sana Mollete Ne Ente (BLT Style) - DDR Ultramix 1 was the 3rd-ever DDR game I purchased. I remember unlocking this song. I remember saying "I want to play a song on Heavy for once!" I go to choose "Random" and this was the song that played. I was unprepared for the sudden speed of the song, but I ended up passing it! This was the first song I passed on Heavy, and I'm honored. This song's awesome!
#12: Twilight Zone (RC Extended Club Mix) - Everything about this song is excellent. The dancing vibe, the BG video in DDR Max 2, and the epic Heavy chart.
#11: Theme from enter the dragon - This song (in America) only appeared on DDR Extreme, and it was awesome. I played the heck out of this song. Oh, and this is the song that plays when I have to go through something difficult, and I try to stay strong and never give up.
#10: The way u move - This was the only decent new Komani original in DDR 2010, and it deserves to be on an arcade DDR!!! This song is chill and the chart is fairly NOT difficult, if you're a good enough DDR player on the pad.
#9: Xepher - There's many many reasons I love this song. This song was a big reason to why SuperNOVA 1 was just as great as Extreme 2. (DDR Extreme 2 was the best DDR, until SN1 was tied with it.) The Challenge Chart wasn't too over-the-difficulty for a 10-footer. (It wasn't THAT easy either.) I loved this song even before it was released on SN1, and I thought to myself "If this ever was released on DDR, I can predict that DDR game being the best one yet" and that's why Xepher is this high.
#8: Heaven is a 57 metallic gray - DDR Extreme 2 was full of great songs, and this was one of the top songs I loved. There isn't many songs with triplet-steps that I liked, but this one was awesome. I also remember playing this on the DDR Extreme Arcade Machine at Seabreeze (an amusement park in Rochester NY).
#7: Possession - All of the Replicant D-Action's songs were quite redundant, except for this song. Most of the song was fast, the charts were fair and wasn't full of pulled-out-of-arses combo breakers. (Valkyrie Dimension, you're welcome) I also loved the techno and heart the artist put into this song. Also, this is 2 of 2 good songs, IMO, from DDR II.
#6: Chinese Snowy Dance - I never heard of this song until recent, and BOY do I love the sound of this song! This is one of those songs I'd never get tired of.
#5: Rhythm and Police - I'm one of the only DDR players to actually play DDR Max 2 BEFORE playing Max 1. When I purchased Max 1, and unlocked this song VERY EARLY in the game, I automatically fell in love with it when I kept hearing "GO GO GO GO GO" and there was so much jumps in there, on light.
#4: Afronova - I remember the first time encountering this song in DDR Max 2. It was on a Nonstop Course. (I don't remember the name of the Course, but I know exactly the 5 songs on there. It was Conga Feeling, Afronova, Break Down, Tsugaru, then More Deep). I was a noob back then, and I failed Afronova miserably on my first try, but I practiced for like a week, retried that course, and passed the song. I enjoyed this song and its charts itself.
#3: Captain Jack (Grandale Remix) - Before I even heard of DDR (I started hearing of it in 2004), I would always hear my family playing the original Captain Jack song, and I enjoyed it every time. When I bought DDR Extreme 2 in 2005, and saw Captain Jack in the song list, I loved the game already.
#2: Unreal - I like everything about this song. The song itself, the charts, and the BG video that plays. Also, I love when a rock song has that type of theme, where it relates to deep romance or a meaningful plant of some type. Oh, and this is also my #1 favorite DDR boss song.
HONORABLE MENTIONS: 321 Stars, A, V (for extreme), Dynamite Rave (X2 edition), and Orion 78 civilization mix.
#1: Tsugaru - This song right here is the reason I started loving DDR. DDR Max 2 was the first DDR I've ever purchased, and I loved this song so much.
#25: So In Love - I never thought I'd ever have this song in my list of good DDR songs, but here it is. #25. So In Love. I used to hate this over-used song, but then a decade later comes, I start liking the song for some reason, I still (to this day) don't know why, but it's a solid #25.
