I wouldn't trust torrents at all. The download on here is actually slow for me as well and I have fast internet I say just wait the 34 mins. or just download the songs individually if you can.

Probably because of the videos that some simfiles come with the pack although I never had any problems with a 3.9 GB RAR file from other sites that has the BG videos that only took like 2-5 minutes most of the time to download
