The BEMANI Hall Of Fame.

Someone did this on another forum I go to with cartoon characters and thought the concept would be perfect for songs in the Bemani universe. Here's how it works.

1. Everyone picks three 2 songs from any BEMANI game (DDR, IIDX, Pop'n Music, and so on). Songs you think should have the honor of being in the hall of fame. You can even post why you think the song should be in the hall but that's optional.

2. Once we have 30 songs to be put on the ballot, then members vote for what songs should be nominated.

3. Once we have our ballot of 30 songs, send me a PM of the songs you think should be inducted into the BEMANI Hall Of Fame. YOU CAN PICK UP TO 10 ON EACH BALLOT. Also please say on the topic of the PM that it's for this, just so I can keep things organized. 2 song nominations are NOT sent by PM due to everyone will see what they are anyway. Ballot votes are what is sent by PMs.

4. After 10-15 members have voted (not final on a number, or we can do after X number of days. Depends on how many members get involved), I'll post the songs that have been inducted to the BEMANI Hall Of Fame. You don't have to nominate a song to vote, this rule might change later.

5. Song need 70% of the vote to be inducted. If a song fails to reach the 70%, then the song is put on the next ballot.

6. If a song ends up with less than 30% of votes, then it is removed from the next ballot. It can be nominated again but not during the same round it was removed.

70%+ = Inducted to Hall Of Fame.
69%-30% = Not inducted but is carried over to the next ballot.
29% or below = Removed from ballot.

7. Once we have our nominated songs, people pick new songs to fill in the 30 sports and the process starts again.

I'll start with my 3 songs.

1. MAX 300 / Ω (DDRMAX -DanceDanceRevolution 6thMIX-) - What became to many to be the original boss song. Being DDR's first 10 footer, MAX 300 was beyond anything ever seen before it. A Boss song that's still played to this day.

2. Butterfly / SMiLE.dk (DanceDanceRevolution 1st Mix) - Every time a new player plays DDR, most times then not they will play Butterfly. It was one of the very first DDR songs that really stood out. A favorite to first time and more experienced players/

3. 冥 / Amuro vs Killer (beatmania IIDX 12 HAPPY SKY) - 冥 made it's first appearance almost 10 years ago and today it is to many to be seen as the peak of IIDX. A song that's truly lasted the test of time and has become a legend.

3. Valanga / DJ TOTTO (REFLEC BEAT colette -Winter-) - The most popular song of one of today's rising BEMANI artists.

1. I've had 10 votes so far.
2. If the ballot ended now, only one song would be inducted with 80%. Three other songs have 70%.
3. Only one song has no votes. I might make some changes of percentage of how much is needed to be inducted and how much is needed to stay on the ballot. If I do it will start on the next ballot. Likely will make it 70/30. 70% of votes to get inducted, 30% to stay on the ballot.

Sorry this is kind of a working progress to see how things go. So there might be some changes in rules here and there.

GOLD RUSH - DJ YOSHITAKA-G feat. Michael a la mode (beatmaniaIIDX 14 GOLD): It's hard to find any bemani fan who's not a fan of this song. Bringing up phrases such as "Make It Make Money" and of course "2DX GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD!"

大見解 - Des-ROW feat. TSUBOI for ALPHA (pop'n music 6): For most players, the first song people think of when they think Pop'n Music is Daikenkai. It's also gain much popularity when it was on DDR EXTREME.

Honestly, 888 is neither the fastest burst or the fastest constant BPM. Burst is Tohoku Evolved, and fastest constant BPM is Across the Nightmare. 888 never actually hits 888 BPM either.

I think this is a great idea---
1.Pluto.... terrifying, boss sound, paranoia, incredibly unique, piano apocalypse---- (or fascination MaxX???)

2.LEAD Gravity... exciting, powerful, climactic, final boss sound.

this hall of fame is incomplete without these tunes! !!!
