Konami is keeping the arcades still up and running with the DDR franchise, but who really wants to sweat their ass off in a arcade nowadays in America. Thats why we have stepmania & open ITG now we can simulate the song & steps, but it takes time and money to find a good dance pad to play it with. I go to arcades every other two weeks to play DDR A & Extreme with the crew. Very few people playing anything in the arcade. Only a couple bunch playing DDR.

This was pretty enjoyable, mainly because I don't often find BEMANI videos with English subtitles. Actually, I don't think I ever have outside of the Private BEMANI Academy PV. They use some old terminology such as "maniac mode" but oh well, it's probably the best we're going to get from a Western short film, if you can call it that. I like how they spoke to DJ YOSHITAKA, REDALiCE and both Japanese and Western fans, and showed how the community is quite close if that makes sense.
At the same time, I'm very salty my favourite composer was in the DDR crowd and they didn't bother to do anything. So very salty.

They overused Paranoia Revolution. They had to throw Flower in because it's Flower, I didn't think Yoshitaka really had a lot to do with DDR, and why did they speed up so many of the dancing segments? It was almost like they were saying it wasn't impressive enough.
Regaredless it's nice seeing someone give DDR some coverage. Any positive press is welcome!

Well, Yoshitaka is not in charge of DDR but he is the main producer in BEMANI, so is ok to be interviewed. Also is nice to see REDALiCE here: I remember in some comments he really likes DDR and in the video he reflects that.
Overall is a nice video, with some minor details but it shows DDR is still alive
