When we play...do we play people or comps.?

Don't worry, your soul will be fine. All you have to do is create a user name, password... you know, the usual.

Outside of that, it depends on what game you play and how many other people are playing that game. Often times, a game is 1-player, but others will be in the same room playing the same game independent of you. In games of at least 2 players, you may have CPU opponents or real opponents. It's usually more likely to have real people playing with you (or against you) because people can join in a game and take the place of a CPU player.

To answer your questions, yes Pogo.com has been here for a LOOOONG time, and the multiplayer games have always pitted you against other CPU players...
