So, i was going to buy a new ignition because my metal pads are cracked. Where is the ignition on the red octane website? Only dance pad there is the Afterburner. Did they stop making foam pads? You would think they would still sell them since they are the standard in that area of gaming. Just wondering.

They stopped making Ignitions. The price on the Afterburner was quite reasonable now though, so I picked one up.

That explains why I don't see them in Best Buy anymore.
Assuming that you know how to take proper care when using a foam pad, expect for the Ignition 3.0 foam pads to crack after prolonged use... assuming that you get your hands on one.

My Ignition ripped and was unusable after about 6 months. I wouldn't recommend one anyway.
My friend has an Afterburner, which is nice and has been pretty reliable so far, although the screws have been known to come lose while playing In the Groove. I'd say it's a good price.
Nothing beats the CF though...

I still have my Ignition 3.0 pads, I've had them for around 2 years and they still work good as new.
A friend of mine has a CF. There good, but I don't think they are worth 250$+ dollars.
