I'm not disagreeing with you, but if you listen to Valkyrie Dimension OR PARANOiA Revolution, I don't think most people would predict you could make a 19 out of either of those. And going back earlier, no one would've predicted an 18 on NGO, though that was pre-X-rating scale.

Never underestimate how hard you can make a chart by filling it with completely silly filler steps or by filling it with crossovers and literal spins (in PRevo's case).

Still, I don't think it would be a 20, but only because there's not much of a progression or a reason to do it now - It's expert chart is only a 15, and it's unlikely that the first 20 will be a jump from Expert 15 --> 20 Challenge.

At least if the fact that all 5 singles 19's are Expert 18 --> Challenge 19 so far is any indicator.

Well, originally EGOISM 440's chart was a 17, before being rerated, but you are right that it would be completely illogical and improbable that the possible challenge chart for A4A could be a 20.

I think that a great idea to introduce the 20 charts is to add an extra Difficulty level. For example, above challenge, to make it exclusive.

Konami are on fire with all of the these updates. I just unlocked Endy, but can't pass it on Expert/Challenge with LIFE4, so this is a welcome change.

Looks like the last unpassable chart (Endymion D-) will finally be passed. (not counting CUT1)

I wonder what that's going to look like though. The world record of Egoism 440 D- is barely a 900k and the player gets into the regular lifebar's Danger zone.

The only upper limit to how hard a chart a song can have is your imagination. And knowing KONAMI, if they have to use absolutely horrendous gimmicks, they will.

I really hope they don't make what I made, though...
