At play part it lag. It's not fluid as i think. But on other theme, it doesn't lag

try to set the Vsync option to OFF under Option --> Graphic Option... in your stepmania

Oh yeah thx It was because i switch Window Mode to Full Screen Mode sometime (Alt+CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER)

Btw it's a nice ideas the CD

how about try these setting to boost up frames in your stepmania?

Under Graphic Option:

Display Resolution = 800 (average) --------> mine is 1024
Display Color = 32
Texture Resolution = 2048
Texture Color = 32BIT
Movie Color = 32BIT
Smoothlines = OFF
Cel-shaded Models = OFF
Textures In Memory = ON
Refresh Rate = DEFAULT
Wait for Vsync = NO
Show Stats = OFF (no connection to gfx, nevermind about it)

usually it may sometimes look laggy when displayed in window mode...

Switching between window or fullscreen is ALT+ENTER only.

What version are you using... 3.95? You have same situation like boomba and he uses that version...

I am using regular 3.9 patched with REDUX...

It's hard to rip announcer cuz it returned scratchy when i ripped them...

i already done the speedometer in my 1st uploaded theme...

Are the CDs scripted on song names?

and I was wondering, can the "dark" option be like the DDRX one? and can it be possible?
and the options menu, can it be like DDR's option menu?
1st player's option is on the left and the 2nd on the right?

There is already DARK option in the Player Options Menu.

All Finals, ES and EES CD images (DDRX US (plus Pluto/Pluto Relinquish) & JP CS and DDRX2 US CS and DDRX Max Specials) are already scripted to display in the Stage Screen AT ANY STAGE whenever that song is being chosen.

- updated all images Main Course screen, SelectMusicCourse Oni and Screen Gameplay Oni.
- updated song banner text found in Music Wheel
- SCREEN FILTER Option in Player Option Menu (OFF, DARK, DARKER, DARKEST) added but processing it to Gameplay ongoing.
(this option is in beta test only)
- re-organized and fix codes in ScreenBranchGameplay (it now loads faster in my set. Hope yours too.)

Are you using BeMedia? I know that program is terrible at ripping the sound file on DDR discs. Try using PSound. That program will give you a clean, non-scratchy file.
Although you'll need to adjust the config to force rip each sound at 44100 frequency (or something around that number).
But don't depend on PSound. This program may be able to rip the sound file fine, but it is the exact opposite of BeMedia. PSound cannot rip bgm and music. It oddly enogugh gives the same result as BeMedia and the sound file: scratchy.
Give PSound a shot and I assure you'll get a clean file from it.

Yes, I used BeMedia so i got them with scratchy sounds... but PSound is very hard to use with but...

Thank to your post... it made me interested to rip All DDRX2 announcer's and SFX sound this day...
Finally! i just ripped them all a while ago (i hope so... too many but all are valid announcer's and SFX sounds PLUS all background music from different mode... with a total of 74).

But it's not Psound I'm using... it automatically set every sound's starting and ending offset and they are very accurate!... all interleave are the same so i have to set them correctly to the multiple of 16... longer (background) music are easier to set their interleave than the Announcer's &/or SFX sounds...

Yes! i ripped them all now very clear!

Edit: i just heard a ripped background sound from DDRX2 that sounds similar to Max series.. it's new to me.. isn't it the ending music?
