Thanks Arcorann, that pack could help so much, I haven't used that cause I use the song names based on the ZIV database to decrease the edition, but they work as a guide for the completion I've found some courses that I like to add to the list this week. I need to find some CS DDR versions to dump the graphics I will be busy with this. Thanks for the support.

Well, I've decided to start this idea by two main reasons:
1. Is too hard to find a full collection of courses.
2. Some courses that we can find on Internet have fixed paths or low quality banners taken from photos etc.
The main idea is to create a repository with official courses of the DDR series games, compatible with SM 3.x and 5 versions. The courses will be organized by series folders, and I'll try to use the dumped graphics from the original games for the banners.
The repository URL is : https://github.com/MadkaT182/DDRCourses
List of series included at this moment:
- Dance Dance Revolution 4th Mix
- Dance Dance Revolution 4th Mix PLUS
- Dance Dance Revolution Extreme
- Dance Dance Revolution Supernova
- Dance Dance Revolution Supernova 2
- Dance Dance Revolution S
- Dance Dance Revolution X
- Dance Dance Revolution X2
- Dance Dance Revolution X3
I'll be updating this as far a I can work on. Any help is appreciated ;) .

Does the bolded part mean you are trying to do this in a way that I don't have to name my folders the same way you do or edit the course file in order for it to work properly? Because thats why I have no courses in my SM.

Yes, is to avoid that, this courses only have the name of the song folder, and stepmania, assign it. Maybe you have to make some manual fixes when the name exists more than one time. But the main idea is that, left stepmania assign the paths. And complete the post Extreme courses that aren't in the old pack of courses.

Thanks for the clarification. I had to edit a couple song names myself in the course files since my 1-Extreme are ripped from Bewares Extreme rather than the ones here (for the songs in it anyway) but other than that they worked great. You guys did awesome on this. +5s all around.

I made Nearly=130, Tempo Changer, and Oni Dou for myself using the info from here. Not sure if this will be helpful to any of you since the banners are low quality gifs, but its a start.

Edit: to clarify, I'll share what I have done if you guys want it, but if not since its low quality images and I have different song folder names than the database here I wont exactly be offended if you don't.

That info that you've shared is for MAX2 AC?
About the resources don't worry, I'll be dumping the graphics from the PS2 games later, I only have DDRX and Extreme2, but I'll donwload later MAX and SN series to get some missing banners from the discs.
If you have missing info from courses and could share is welcome, the idea is to make a complete version of the courses, also if you check errors on the uploaded courses or banners it would be helpful, with the song list and course mode (oni/nonstop) is a good start to help
Thanks to all for the help, info and interest. I'm actually dumping EXTREME2 for some resources, including the courses, I'll get the nonstop info and banners, only need to get some time with oni's and start scripting them. If anyone has more info missing will be very welcome. See ya later with more news

Yes, that's Max2 AC/7th Mix. I know the 3 courses I mentioned are accurate, as Oni Dou was always a big deal and I used to play 130 and Tempo Changer myself all the time. AIJ has always had accurate information, though, so I see no reason not to trust the rest of the courses.

And for some news, I've got the DDRSN2 US ps2 disc and dumped the banners and made the courses I haven't played the courses, they could be updated if the courses had mods (I haven't checked). Later I'll add the dumped banners to the MAX series courses and start with Supernova US stay tunned.

Extreme Courses should need no introduction:
http://aaronin.jp/ddrm3oni2.html
There's also some YouTubes of the console courses lists, like this one:
US EXTREME: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqKdEvfK_-E
US EXTREME 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSIco71Om9M
I get that there's an "officialness" to this all, but is there a way we could set the courses up to be like:
= Easy selection
= Hard selection
= "Hard + 1" selection
I only say, because most of the home version courses - US/EU in particular - seem to be made primarily of charts, and it'd be funner to play variants of them as well.

You only need to play the games in the PCSX2 emulator, to dump the textures you could choose from various process, you could use an older version of Cheat Engine and the DirectXMess feature, texmod, umod, etc. Thoose softwares let you check the memory to change the textures loaded by the directx runtime. That is for dumping, also you need to change channels and various fixes to the dumped graphics. You could use artmoney or animget too to capture screenshots, sometimes messing with the memory could be harder, because you need to make the emulator load the textures, that means (in my case) that I've to unlock in the game the things that I like to dump. You could investigate about the softwares and methods that I've described, and choose the best fit to your needs, from the mentiones I used the Texmod variation.

Thanks for the courses, there is only missing EXTREME JP and US versions, I'm going slower cause I have to unlock the courses in the emulator to dump the graphics and some of the courses have mods, like tricky courses, darkness and other courses and the mods aren't listed in the course selection.

For this is a possiility to create a tool to make upper/lower level change, or set all the difficulties to a specific difficulty, like heavy or challenge, is more easy for everyone to tune and less files to the repository
Thanks to all for your comments. I'll be back soon with more news.

Oh and just some questions. How do you lock the difficulty during Oni/Challenge mode? In actual DDR games, you can't change the difficulty or use mods. In SM, you can. Also, how do you increase the combos during greats in Oni/Challenge mode? The combo no longer pauses by DDR SN when you hit greats.

It depends mainly of the theme, the default behavior is that you can use song options of you are playing a Nonstop. You can't select song options if you're using a Oni course. To set an Oni course just add the LIVES parameter, if you like to create a Nonstop, remove the LINES line from the crs.
Also you could check this from the SM5 docs:
Quote
-- #SONG can also apply different effects on each entry in the course by adding
-- special modifiers to the modifiers segment:
#SONG:*:Medium:showcourse;

Also, how do you increase the combos during greats in Oni/Challenge mode? The combo no longer pauses by DDR SN when you hit greats.
As far I can see, this behavior is theme related.
--------
Added 4th series banners
------------
Added Supernova2 US CS and X2 CS.
Question: The X2 CS version only have those "level" series courses?
-----------
Added Extreme 2 workout courses!

Go into metrics.ini, find MinScoreToContinueCombo. Change it to TapNoteScore_W3. Alternatively, go to 03 Gameplay.lua and override the line "dance = GAMESTATE:GetPlayMode() == "PlayMode_Oni" and "TapNoteScore_W2" or "TapNoteScore_W3"".
By the way, many of the X2 courses have incorrect lives settings. I don't remember off the top of my head which are which, but I know that roughly half the courses use a regular lifebar, while those that do use a battery lifebar use 4 for Normal and 8 for Difficult.

The X2 arcade or console version? I can remember a bit of this when I've played on the DDRX too. but I don't have an X2 arcade near to check this I'll complete the ranking courses for this version. And check later the battery lifes.
