The title of the thread explains it all: Just list off any Dancemania songs that you wish would've been playable in the 573 era of Dance Dance Revolution, along with why you wanted them in.
The song could either be a Dancemania remix of a popular song, a remix of a Dancemania song already in DDR (like Upside Down), or an entirely new Dancemania-exclusive track that never saw the light of day.
Whenever possible, please provide a link to the song(s) you're listing so others know which one(s) you're talking about. We all want to share our love of Dancemania music, right?
My recommendation would be "Come On Feel The Ecstasy (X-Tasy)" by John Desire.
John Desire does amazing music. I'm honestly surprised his only track under his 'John Desire' alias that got into DDR was Hot Limit. The song feels serious and meaningful, but still brings a catchy beat. The female vocals also help make the song feel personalized.

Personally, I think that any Rick Astley song from Dancemania, but especially Never Gonna Give You Up, would have been a great edition to DDR. It would probably fit in DDR 4th mix PLUS, since that game already has a representative from Dancemania Super Classics 3 (where Never Gonna give you up comes from), CAFE.
Also, I think Barbie Girl from Aqua would be a nice fit for DDR 5th mix, since it comes from Dancemania TREASURE, which also has NO LIMIT (RM MIX).

Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley did make it to HOTTEST PARTY 3 at least, years later.
It was a pretty OK game.

Which album did Scatman come from? I remember seeing covers featured in Dancemania, but not necesarily the original song.
Anyways, as for songs that should have featured in DDR, I would say that E-ROTIC's cover of Dancing Queen would have been a great edition for DDR 1st/2nd mix, and also the Axel Boys' cover of Dub-I-Dub (perhaps in DDR EXTREME).

I am aware of that, but to be honest, the expert chart from that game felt severely understepped, and the stepping team behind DDR 4th mix (PLUS) probably would made a more satisfying chart.

Anything from SPEED G series, especially 24/7 by Eclipse and some Brisk&Ham songs.

I'm pretty sure the only cover that ever actually showed up in Dancemania was the Axel Brothers one?
The original Scatman John version was on the first Dancemania Diamond, so pretty early on in Dancemania. Near the end of the series, they started using a remix called 'Scatman 2003', which also uses the Scatman John vocals. They used the original version at least 5 or 6 times throughout the series.

Most of the songs I was disappointed to miss out on in 573-era DDR actually showed up in SuperNOVA, but I can't believe these were never included, considering how often Toshiba pushed them in the Dancemania series :
Stacy Orrico - Stuck
Pet Shop Boys - New York City Boy
DJ Miko - What's Up
Misa - Banzai
5,6,7,8 is obviously in a European AC version, but the fact that it was never included in a Japanese AC version is mind-boggling. Love & Joy taking 10 years to show up in the series is pretty bizarre as well.

Yeah, I know. I think it just would have been better in one of the older DDR games.

But I think most of the Supernova liscenes that were on Dancemania albums were released pretty late into the 573 era.

Pretty much all of Dancemania X9. One of the best albums, and the only song they ever wound up grabbing from it was Twilight Zone, except I think they even marked that one as "from Zipmania 02" regardless.

Marvelous (Definitive Mix) by Natalie Browne (Dancemania X8) - Would fit in well on 5th Mix.
Another Night (F.T Company Edit) by Morgana (Dancemania EX9) - Okay, I slightly cheated with this one, but this could have fit well on Supernova, which had some Dancemania licenses if I'm not mistaken
Tears In May by Missing Heart (Dancemania X6) - 5th Mix-esque for sure.
2 Faced (Almighty Mix) by Louise (Dancemania X8) - Could sort of see this on Max
Something by Lasgo (Dancemania Fantasia 3/Hyper Delux) - Definite Max 2 vibe with this one.
Missing by Discovery (Dancemania Hyper Trance Best) - Max 2-esque
Angel Eyes by Brisk & Ham (Dancemania Speed G2) - would fit in well on Extreme

These are going to DDRMAX4;
*TAKE A LOOK AROUND - DJ X-MEN
*SET YOU FREE -FLIP N' FILL REMIX- - N-TRANCE
*IT JUST WON'T DO - TIM DELUXE FEAT. SAM OBERNIC (the music video for this is terrible)
*DOMO DOMO DOMO - Smile.DK
*DON'T BELIEVE YOU'RE LEAVING - Smile.DK
*I WAS MADE FOR LOVING YOU - BUS-STOP
*The Cowboy Song (Devil Queen) - COWBOY JOHN
*TOKYO - Smile.Dk
*TUBTHUMPING (KCP REMIX) - CHUMBAWAMBA
*BREATHE - Prodigy
*Spaceman - Bambee
*When My Baby (Almighty Mix) - Scooch
*On The Radio - Martine McCutcheon
*The Magic Friend - 2 Unlimited
*HAPPINESS - Zippers
*DIGITAL LOVE - DAFT PUNK (I wish I could get a better cut of this; the first half is unsteppable, lol)
*MISSION IMPOSSIBLE - DJ SPEEDO
*Give it up (Radio Edit) - CAPTAIN JACK
*The Look - Roxette
I can see cool charts for just about all of these. Don't know the albums, but I've definitely verified every single one of these comes from Dancemania.
I'm curious as to what the 3DTextura movie would've been in the graphics for these if these got in... :P

Two of those have appeared in DDRMAX3.
I guess it could be argued that ALL of the Dancemania licenses in that (THE BALL GAME by CAPTAIN JACK, JIVE INTO THE NIGHT by Green Olives, LAST CHRISTMAS by ROSE, SUNRISE NIPPON by EUROBEAT LOVERS, CHEMICAL LOVE by JOHN DESIRE, so many others) should've been in the official game? :P
