Welp, no thread for this so decide to make one myself.
So far there are 7 packs with 3 songs each, along with about 15 free songs.
Like the Vita version, keysounds remain, except that some songs don't have them available.
The biggest change, however, is the new face this game has taken.

Thanks, I'll be buying this game now. ;)
This thread can signify the iOS release in particular.
I sure hope this thing allows offline play...either way, it's just $0.99, so I'll get it anyway to see what it's like.

Nah, this one could be for the iOS verdion specifically.

OK, I bought the game and noticed that it's definitely developed by the Chinese; even most of the music is Chinese as well (and yes, I do know Chinese). One song in particular （蘇三起解）is pretty funny because there's a point when they switch to English vocals, haha! The overall presentation and feel of the game is smooth and flawless. My only advice is for them to add more "hot-blooded"/awesome songs to the list, as most of the current songs are a bit too "traditional". I haven't purchased any of the music packs yet, but it's good to know that you can play the game offline.

Also, if you are planning to stick this game for some time, there is an IAP for all current and future songs.
Dunno what it was called tho.

Pretty sure it's called "Forever Friends," and is priced at around $30 USD, or your regional equivalent.
In addition to all songs, you also get access to those "Coming Soon" songs that periodically show up. Bear in mind though that while said songs are playable, any scores you get before the "official release" of a given song aren't saved; Charts also tend to change post-release, so keep that in mind as well.
