jubeat copious and below can run offline, but 8OTB inexplicably has saucer fulfill running. All I know is that it had some weird error on the title screen in japanese that had the phrase "e-AMUSEMENT PASS" in it, but it ran normally otherwise (besides skipping the card entry screen). Similarly, Nanuet's getting SDVX III that'll apparently work somehow.

They have workarounds for current games that allows them to boot offline, technical stuff, messing with code, magic, what have you, but it works somehow. They did the workaround for Gravity Wars at Nanuet and Saucer Fulfill at the break. And that message at the title screen means basically that e-amuse pass service is unavailable at this time, and play the game offline.

GJ Tao server

What exactly is the GJ Tao server? If it can run SDVX3, it sounds like it could be the potential spiritual successor to PW. >>

to my knowledge GJ Tao server doesn't work with non-chinese IPs. plus it seems like they're selling codes you need to properly play the games, which is stupid

I can't really say too much without crossing into iffy territory, but bottom line is no. Not at all. Not within the universe's lifespan could it be in any way a successor to PW.

She's built quite a reputation outside of ZIv that, to put it simply, makes her a bannable offender anywhere BEMANI-wise.

Anyways, moving on with the topic, Nanuet is currently the only arcade outside of Round 1 to own not just the first DDR white cabinet, but also a legitimate SDVX III and jubeat saucer fulfill cabinet. I think they have exceptions solely because they have the legitimate hardware inside the machine, if you were trying to run DDR 2014 on an old Extreme bootleg Namco/Korean machine, just no. I don't know whether or not this process can be done for other arcades that are willing to shell out the cash to buy the machines straight from Japan, have it imported, and having to wait until they can get the software to be run offline, it's way too much money to waste, but seeing that there would be no way to get it running without official support in the US for e-amuse, that seems to be the only way currently :/

I've yet to see a Round1 arcade that has a DDR machine running a newer version than X2 or X3 (The latter being in Puente Hills), let alone having a white machine. Nanuet is probably the only machine outside of Asia running 2014, period. On top of that, none of the newer R1 locations even have a DDR machine to begin with, which is strange considering they have the official servers to run IIDX, SDVX, etc. >>

The only reason they don't have 2014 at ROUND1 is because they don't have any cabinets to bring over. Eventually they'll bring it over when they have some cabs.

But from what I read (I'm not a member of sows btw) all bemani girl has really done is ruined the party for people who were pirating to begin with o.O
(I am a bit jealous-my legit empress disk 1 has a scratch so freezes and refuse to pay the prices the're asking for the game on ebay)
