Hello, I'm trying to make the music wheel in stepmania like this..
I'm trying to make the music wheel highlight be spaced apart from the music wheel items, just like above.
Is there anyway to code it in the theme metrics? Any help would be helpful, thanks once again!

Look at the DDR SuperNOVA 3 theme thread on here it has the same wheel.

If you already have a 3D wheel, I've found modifying it by doing something like:
local yPos = 16*offsetFromCenter
local absOffset = math.abs(offsetFromCenter)
if absOffset < 1 then
yPos = yPos + 8 * (offsetFromCenter/absOffset)
end
self:y(yPos)
in your transform function will work. Note the numbers for this are entirely made up.

Just download the DDRX theme, go to the scripts folder and copy the wheel.lua file, in your metrics, in the musicwheel group just call the function adding a line like this:
Just fill the required vars in the metrics, and if you wanna tweak the calculations, just edit the .lua file.

Now that MadkaT mentioned it. I wonder if I can change the Song Wheel in the DDR Extreme US CS/DDR Strike theme to this.

Update: I still need help with the music wheel, here's a photo of Jindev's music wheel. I'm trying to make it look like this.
The musicwheel highlight spaced apart from the musicwheel items.
Please help!
