Seems Konami still hasn't quite figured out how to futureproof old cabinets. Now are Dave & Buster's locations going to get A3 upgrades, too?

That'll depend on if they agree to share their revenue with Konami. Also probably doesn't help they're not in a close relationship with them like Round1 is. If the people above me are correct, I wouldn't get my hopes up if some D&Bs are already starting to sell some of their white cabs, or setting them to Local Mode.

Wow, do I have plenty to say:

Last week I went to Round1 to find the white cabs completely turned off, only to find out why when I checked this site. This week, they were on, and on A3 no less. Others were playing, so I couldn't experience it for myself. Seemed to be working fine, so hopefully that applies to other updated cabs.

I don't think this was what was meant because I understand the year-long wait is annoying, but I personally see an upside to this. With both the jubeat packs being freed with Challenge charts and the Controller Bonus pack about to be available, I can say that paying for DLC is simply for early access on AC. I'm in no rush despite my A3 folder looking kinda empty, and other people should not be either imo.

On the subject of song packs, I did some research on Grand Prix after the BPL packs were released. With the BPL packs having the songs they have, future packs can dip all the way into A3, totaling over 300 songs left for GP. I would like it if they weren't seemingly the main way to add songs, but song packs honestly won't be going away for a while.
It's weird, however, that no mix is fully in GP after SN2; the only song missing from DDR X is 零 - ZERO -, and 5 songs remain to fill out X2's folder. Whether that's a in waiting or not remains to be seen.

I also looked into what CS songs could still be added to AC, and my list looks like this:

Other mixes 1st-SN2 also aren’t complete. Various songs are just missing. Holic and Era, for example. There’s a few more but that’s off the top of my head. Both in subscription and ticket modes a few songs are just inexplicably not there.

Edit: just went and checked everything.

And this is for both tickets and song packs. There are songs playable with tickets that cannot be bought in song packs.

Seriously, at one point approximately 45% of A3's songlist was paid DLC. That's unacceptable.

Anniversary Course Trial begins again with 5 courses this time.
Each of the Legendary Licenses are at the end of each course. Each recieving their own challenge chart.
Available for all A3 versions. Available till Sept. 25.

Didn't see that coming. I guess those licenses are still sticking around for a while, then.

Yeah. I hope we'll get more Dancemania revivals in the future like in X3. I doubt it, but we've been surprised before.

I mean in general. Like at any point in the future. I dunno how much longer A3 will be supported until the next game, so it would be a moot point adding them. But yeah I'd love for there to be more anniversary mixes. I just hope they don't suck like the Cartoon Heroes one. A So Deep or Flash in the Night anniversary mix would be awesome.

My dream is for another crossover DDR game, possibly with Max, Max 2 or Extreme. That era had some banger Dancemania licenses and would love to see them get another day in the sun.

Anything OTHER than 2nd mix, i was not a fan of 2nd mix at all honestly. It should of been 3rd mix for ddr x3 vs 2nd mix.
