"ARR JOO LEADY??" |
WOW. So, last year was kind of rough. Year before wasn't too bright, either. But my love for the old-school and middle-school Didder has really resurfaced with a venegance, and back here I am again! What helps a LOT is that I finally got moved into my own pad. No roomies, no relatives, nobody raining on my life at all. So I'm going through the few-dozen subforums, trying to get caught back up. Anybody have any highlights they'd like to share with me? There's just SO MUCH that's happened, it seems!
Also, would anybody be interested in seeing "Console Crossover Challenge" revived? Or does everybody else here, like me, have the whole "HDTV/PS2 lags/PS3 version sucks" issue going on? (Well, on the bright side, HDTV + PC input = very cool Stepmania potential.) And have any widescreen themes/screenpacks for SM been released, that doesn't stretch the arrows way out sideways yet?

"Oh god what I have dooooone?!" |
I believe SM SSC was recently accepted by chris foy as the next development line for SM5, and it looks pretty good.
Open ITG is also doing rather well, although the past few days it seems their site has been down.
HDTV lag is being worked on, and there's always the "use a stereo" option for a number of people.
X2 finally got released in america, europe has yet to get the ps3 ddr although apparently it comes out in a couple days. I have seen it even here in NZ but that's because a local site is brilliant for importing region free games like that.
Japan's already AAA'ed everything on X2 (and that's almost not a lie)
Oh and in january and feb I put together the home pad building thread and the retail pad info thread
Still need info on both, you can find them in the general gaming > hardware forum or my signature.

Mine's video lag. I could correlate the timing to the sound via options; but the video's still WAY off. Even KONAMIX won't play in my PS3 correctly! But there's an SM5 in the works? That's good to know! Thanks.
