i dunno, something about its appearance screams more of a role like druddigon or skarmory in the vein of intimidating looking pokemon that are fairly strong but not overbearingly so like some pseudo legendaries

Opinions on this? Personally I think that a lot of this makes sense. Considering that NX will really be a portable/home console then maybe we will see first true Pokemon 3D adventure of mainline series. Hyped even more for Sun and Moon <3

There is a Nintendo Direct on September 1st, featuring what could possibly be the 3DS's closing lineup. Expect a whole lot of Sun and Moon reveals!

Plus Keldeo is next on the Pokemon 20th Anniversary distribution, this one is via Wi-Fi.

A new Pokemon TCG set releases this November: XY Evolutions. The set will focus on... *drumroll*... reprints of old Base Set cards with updated attacks and statistics! Here's a side-by-side comparison of the new XY Evolutions Charizard when compared to the original Base Set Charizard:



"The set features remade Base Set cards with updated HP, attack damage, types, and wording, bringing the old cards into the modern age. The set also features other classic cards from outside Base Set as well as brand new Pokemon-EX and BREAK Pokemon."
