ZENIUS -I- MANIA

Hey guys sorry I haven't been active... I got blindsided by a work related thing I wasn't expecting where I've been working 7 days a week for the last month and a half, leading to me being VERY exhausted and with little downtime. It was something I wasn't expecting as I had never experienced a summer at my new worksite. Although I was forewarned about it when I got here I wasn't expecting it to be as bad as it ended up being. Something to keep in mind for next year as it's a yearly event here.

Upside is that it's all finally done with so I'll be more active from now on coordinating this. You still have about 1 month to get your songs in, and I've received 5 songs total, although one of them is my own (...does that technically count as "recieving" a song?).
I'll be going through and listening to all the songs I've received over the next week so expect to hear back from me sometime soon.

Even if I don't post very often I do check the site every day at least once, so keep those submissions coming in.

OK, I didn't receive a notification about this newest update for some reason, likely because this is an edit. But anyway, this is another important announcement:

As Darkstorm091 has said: he has resigned from the project, and I will be the new project head for Z4U. To allow for more entries to the project (it's better to have a larger pool of entries to choose from):
I will be extending the deadline for entries to Z4U to October 22, 2016.

A reminder to all (including those who have submitted entries already): please submit your audio files via PM or via my Soundcloud; lossless formats (WAV/FLAC) are highly recommended. If not possible, please submit mp3 files of at least 192 kbps, but 320 kbps is most recommended. Please refrain from upsampling mp3 files as well, and try and export your music in a higher quality.

Thanks to everyone who already submitted their entries, and I hope to see more submissions for the project down the line.

I plan on submitting something for this definitely. Also I wouldn't mind making a continual mix of all the songs in the album once it's completed.

Another bump for the project, since we still haven't gotten more entries for Z4U; I'm also currently working on a remix of one of the submitted tracks, which I'll disclose when it's done.

Submissions are extended again, this time to December 10, 2016.
In addition, we encourage everyone to submit BEMANI remixes if possible, but originals will also be accepted.
As usual, please submit your audio files to me via PM, or send a private SoundCloud message at @denkun-517.

@darkanine's offer to create the continuous mix is still on, though considering the very diverse types/genres of music our users have submitted, let's see what comes up.

I mean, really? Wasn't that what the last Z-I-Mania was? I get that BEMANI remixes will inevitably show up, but to actually post "we would encourage them over originals" is just sad.

@Densetsu.EXE Are high-quality Ogg Vorbis acceptable? I export all of my songs as .ogg due to lossless compression.

I received your submission as an .ogg file, high-quality .ogg files comparable to at least 192kbps mp3 are accepted.

On another note, multiple submissions from the same artist are allowed (I mean, just look at the last Z-I-M compilation)

Less than two weeks before the deadline of submission of entries. Keep the submissions up, everyone.
