Has finally been released Yuni SuperNOVA 2 for Stepmania!
This time it comes with many enhancements:
Animations * New!
* Doll smaller and aesthetic
* Textured high quality to avoid pixilated
* Best textured models in the scene and animation in general better
* New animation system, with joins together, not separated as the default characters
* Best scenario modeling and general wrist
* Removed the files. "bones", only the file "model.txt" in character, which facilitates the creation of new animations, and each character has their own moves depending on whether you are male or female.
At the moment are versions with many improvements which need, graphics and animation, but of what will be conducting upgrades to improve to 100% per character, so that some issues are:
* On certain occasions the character does not move, but in 50, only happens 2 times.
* The textured parts is still imperfect, it will be corrected shortly.
* Animations are not very long, it is the first time I made this type of work, and recreate human animation and original characters is more difficult than I thought. Efforts were made to this point, and will be improving and increasing the number of strokes in the characters.

I lol'ed as Yuni waves her hands fast then suddenly walks forward cautiously. Still looks promising.

I wish we could get the characters ripped from the PS2/AC games; then we would be able to get 100% accurate animations.
This is a step in the right direction though

It is not illegal, that is how the characters got DDR for PSOne games and place them on Stepmania, It's like ripping the images of the DDR games for PSOne and 2 (DDR SuperNOVA, SN2, DDRX, DDRX2 USA) and use those images in the recreational themes for Stepmania.

I think you just need to work on more natural movement. I'm no pro but I'm thinking like, from the YouTube video...
1. 0:50 the spinning animation. Referencing the game, as she lifts her leg to spin, she's also bouncing/ jumping a little. Your Yuni. I think she should also lift her leg higher, maybe...? Her spine on your model doesn't appear relaxed, and neither do her arms. I think her arms should be bent a little rather than straight out.
2. Same for when she's walking; bend her arms a little as you would when walking. I don't know what the animation for walking actually looks like, but she's a girl, so maybe move her hips a little with her legs.
3. 1:03 or something; It's an awkward move, but the girls definitely shake their hips. I don't think the feet should come off the ground; the legs bend and unbend while the hips move to accommodate for the change in leg length. As her hips rotate, so does her whole body, but subtly. And her shoulders move a little.
4. I think the jump animation can stay the way it is... from a distance, it looks like she's jumping with her ankles, though. I don't think she can get that much height off her ankles... comfortably. So maybe either bend her legs or lower the height?
5. The hands intersect the arms. You may want to widen her upper arms so that they're more outward, I think.
As awkward as it may seem, the best thing is to try these moves out in a mirror and take note of everything. Dancing rarely ever just uses one part of the body; it's a matter of everything working together, I think. But I'd be a liar if I said I knew how to dance...
BUT THE THING IS.
Please don't get discouraged by all this rambling, because what you're doing is still amazing, especially getting your own moves to work in Stepmania. That is totally thinking outside the box and should be applauded. Also, thank you so much for making the SN+ characters that everyone else seemed to give up on. x3
Ohhh I want to help somehow, but the only thing I feel like I could help with is shading the textures you made; you have them all drawn right, but there's no shading. I totally want to play with them; obviously, I won't redistribute them, but if I can make them any prettier, I would like to try editing the textures, and if you like them, you can use them. I mean, they're mostly yours anyway... xD;

Wow you even tried to do the SN dances. Neat.
Makes me think if considering you can do something like this, maybe someone can do Train and Bus from DDR Party Collection.

ohh thanks for your recommendations!, but for now I did not add shadows to the textured and it does not seem, well, that function can be done from the modeling program, but for now will implement not, however, many thanks for your desire to help!
Thank you all for your comments, are the food of my desire to move forward with this project. I commented that I have made more progress in terms of movements, quality of character and that the realization of the character faster than before, so they can do faster. Soon more characters, as they are the last of the supernova and then have the much requested by many: DDRX Characters!
