I just got my PC back with Windows 10 and everything is running fine, but the music has this bizarre spacious effect. It's hard to describe, it sounds muffled and the music moves in and out of the speakers at an uneven rate. I don't think it's my sound driver. What could be causing this?

Right-click at the speaker icon in the taskbar, click "Recording devices", check to see if Microphone is enabled. You should disable it.

Try using a different speaker set and see if it still occurs. It could be your current speaker breaking.

It isn't that either because I just tried OpenITG and it wasn't doing that spacious sound then. But I can't move over to OpenITG as I would have to resync over 1000 songs.

Check your sound enhancement via your Audio device's third party software (like Realtek audio hd for example) and/or windows' playback devices. Disable anything like equalizer and such.

Got it. It was the beats audio control panel that was messing with the sound playback. Thanks everyone!
