So this is something I've been doing for almost 20 years now, since 3.9, it's usually easy but in this case it's giving me trouble. The theme I'm using lacks the x4.25, x4.75, x5.25, x5.75, and so on speed mods meaning some songs would have a huge jump in scroll speed making them either slightly too slow or slightly too fast for my taste as I have to use the nearest whole or .5 increment. I'm able to add them easily just like I did on 3.9 by editing metrics.ini and en.ini but the problem is when I add the speeds I want suddenly every time I open the menu I'm defaulted to x4.75. How do I make the mods menu remember my last selected mod rather than always being on x4.75? This is what my speed mod section looks like in metrics.ini.
Edit: Bump. It's a minor issue yeah but it would be great to get this fixed so I'm not on x4.75 every time I open the mods menu.

Without a profile, I'm not sure it's possible. But I usually find that having a profile active for the current theme will save the last speed mod used in that theme.

I have a profile. Three, actually. One for me for keyboard scores, one for pad scores, and one for my daughter. But what you're talking about only applies to exiting the game and going back in. I'm talking about I could open the mods menu, select a speed mod, close the mods menu, and then open it again less than a second later and it was back on 4.75. But I fixed it though. The problem was in the metrics itself as I guessed. I took out 0.25, 0.50, and 0.75, 7.5, and 8. At that point I had the same number of speed mods that the theme originally had and now it remembers the selected speed mod. But it shouldn't function that way, I should be able to add hundreds of speed mods if I want and have it remember the right one.
