Asking this to a more experianced IIDX player... I started playing in July.
Is it really worth stressing over your scores on a certain song to just get a AA/AAA?
This will sounds pretty pathetic, but I just have a lot of difficulty AAA'ing 5.1.1 [n]. I can easily AA it, but I guess i just want a AAA to brag about it.
I also try to increase A's to AA's by continously playing the song over and over. I'm at the 6-level and can currently AA FC sync [n], but loads of other songs that are supposedly easier still only have an A. So i just feel awkward and continue to try AA'ing them.
SO basically, should I just allow natural progression to do it's job and not bother with this? Or do I suck?

There's such things as songs that are too slow and too easy to AAA; 5.1.1. took me a while, the song is not that hard but trills did take me a while to get used to.
And yeah, I do get frustrated sometimes going for AAAs especially if the graph on the right says something like AAA -2 or even worse AAA -1; but not too frustrated I should think.
And seeing you've only started playing in July... it's only been four months, it took me a while before the explosion of AAAs came so keep playing, they'll come eventually.

Thanks for that reply.
Hm, i can sort of understand what you mean by songs being too slow and easy to AAA, so I guess I'll just sort of ignore it for a while.
It's nice to get some clarification on it!
Er, also somewhat unrelated, but how do you get that grpah to show up where the video would normally be? I'm still somewhat figuring the game out, hehe.

When you set your modifers, use the turntable to set which graph option you want.
自己ベスト = Personal Best
You might want to set it to that one.

I was going to say I AAA'd 5.1.1, but then I remembered:
1) I only have BMUS, so my AAA is a AA
2) It was on Beginner, lawl
Yeah as you can see, I'm not very good at this game yet =p
Slow songs seem to be a lot harder in IIDX than in DDR though, so make the most of that High Speed.

Yeah HS really does help! It's immediately obvious that it's more useful in IIDX than speed mods in DDR.
And thanks for telling me about the graph, al2k4.
