DDR Universe 2 Work Thread for ZIV

Ok guys, I know you all want to see this project done, but if no one is willing to help, it never will be completed. I know that it's easy to obtain some decent MP3's from the game, along with all the complete bg's and bn's. What's really need as of right now is the BG vids for any songs that have them (Wanna Be Your Star, Is It Any Wonder, etc.) and obviously stepcharts. I was able to get a few singles charts done, and I know that Raf and Saotome2U also did some work, but as of right now I have no clue where they are. I'd love to continue working on these files for you guys, but I currently don't have access to a 360 at the moment. What would be great is if someone (or even several people) could go through and take videos of each chart, singles and doubles. This way, I could view them an copy them in. I'd also need a few testers to make sure that everything is synced up nice when I'm done stepping. So let's start with some volunteers! Who wants to make a few vids and contribute to his project???

*Note that you should not expect me to fly through this like Al does with PS2 releases. I'm still inexperienced. Another thing is that I'm in my second year of college, so I'm a pretty busy guy. With so much going on, I won't have a ton of time to work on this.*

I'm probably going to get to Uni3 before Uni2. Just got a 360, and Uni3 is definitely something I'm considering getting on release. After a few weeks I'd be happy to help there if I can be given the mp3s, but I don't know how long it'll be until I have Uni2.

It's really annoying how the better game gets ignored because it's not on the original platform. The PS2 simfiles were up the next day!

I sound hypocritical because I play on PS2, but not 360.

I just got Universe 2 today. I'll see if I can help if somebody can send me the mp3s. I would probably need someone who can sync since I have little experience in that field.

I'm usually pretty good at syncing stuff, unless the BPM/gap is really awkward or has a ton of BPM changes. I'm sure there are others that could also handle that too... So anyway, give me a bit and I'll PM you a link to what's been done so far.

It does not give you an OK (and shows up as a normal 4th note jump with freezes off) and therefore I put it in as a jump. This measure shows up differently when you put the chart into edit mode, but what I stepped is how it plays in Game Mode)

If anybody reads this and would be able to help me with the BPM of Arrivals and Departures. It's display BPM is 144-158. I'll try to post a video of the chart to see if anybody can help me. From playing this some more, I think it is one of those songs that gradually slows down toward the end. I'm leaving this for last.

I'd be willing to help out in anyway I can, but I don't have any experience making step charts or anything like that. I do want to see this project completed though, so I will help in anyway I can.

I've been working mostly on heavy charts but I am going back and filling in the other singles charts. I'm trying to work on a couple files per night while balancing work and school. I am syncing these as best as I can. I'd like others to check them out. Perhaps I could have them uploaded to the site?

If you want, throw them in a .zip and I'll gladly go through them tonight, and let you know how they look.

guys everything has been done for a while except for 5 songs which Adamaniax is going to finish up for me. I know you've been kept in the dark for a while, but there's been a lot of issues. One of them being that I just recently lost interest in DDR. Also, the live drumming BPM changes were incorrect even though I ripped them directly from the SSQ file.

The plan was to not release songs as soon as one was finished because we would have what is going on with Ultramix 3 right now. Updating of old files. No one would care to get the new files so we just wanted to release it all at once. I will not be working on Universe 3. I sold my xbox.

I think you guys will be regretting that fact. All the sims I checked over and produced are 100% accurate BPM to the thousandth of a beat.
